Really nice campground, although very hard to reserve. There seemed to be several sites available, yet the Campground Full sign was displayed. Apparently people left early or there were no shows. It would be helpful to have updates posted on the website, if possible.The campground has a very nice beach, with another public beach 1/2 mile away. Elkins Resort is within walking distance for a nice meal. A small store is also handy for ice and other items you may have run out of.

The lake side camspots are excellent. We have been going here for 25 years and it's always wonderful. I do have to say that the current camp hosts do not take care of the bathrooms well. We were there for 2 weeks and the only thing done in bathrooms was to replace TP. Never any cleaning. That was disappointing.

Rain or shine, this is our favorite place to visit.

Most sites were plenty large and sufficient spacing between sites. As with most all forest service campgrounds, it may not be suitable for very large RV's.

Large, clean sites, beautiful beaches, clean bathrooms, breakfast at Elkins, what could be better?!
@PatriciaH36547 · Camped on Sep 10, 2023 at Campsite #8
The beach is sandy, the water warm, the view stunning. We camped after Labor Day so campground not full and not noisy EXCEPT a large RV that ran its generator off and on from morning till 10pm. It was parked across and up from us, we were in a tent, and the sound and occasional fumes dominated our camping experience. It would be helpful if electricity was provided at some campsites, and if the tents and RV's could be segregated. Have a specific area for tents. I know it would be tricky to schedule be certainly helpful.The camp host was great and everything else about this campground was excellent.

The campsite we got was right by the road to the resort and there was more traffic noise than I wanted, but it was Labor Day Weekend. The campsite wasn't screened from the road well either, it didn't feel very private. However, the other sites looked nicer and weren't as close to the road. The beach was nice and the bathrooms were clean and had plumbing, which was a treat.

I suggest people go elsewhere, so it won't be so hard for me to get a campsite in July!

Campsites were well separated, the beach was very nice, and the water was warm and clear which made for great swimming, and kayaking, paddle boarding. The camp host was very helpful and the bathrooms were clean with flush toilets, and sink. We will definitely be back.

I really liked the new flushable toilets and sink. Different from the past. Very good improvement. Very nice camphost

Reeder Bay is great but very difficult to get reservations for more than a nite or two unless you are one of the lucky ones. Hosts have been here for several years now and they do a great job keeping facilities clean and juggling the site availability. Tired of camp food enjoy a meal at Elkins Resort.
@SherylF10CFB4C · Camped on Jun 5, 2023 at Campsite #21
We love Reeder Bay at Priest Lake. Most of the sites are spacious. There are not any electric, sewer or water hook ups. But there is water every few sites that you can fill containers. They now have at least two restrooms that have flush toilets and a sink. There are trails to the beautiful lake. The beach is sandy and the water gradually gets deep. We are able to get cell phone service. It is difficult to get reservations in this popular campground. And bring mosquito repellent.

Very nice wooded campground right on the lake where there are beautiful sand beaches. The bathrooms have flush toilets and sinks and were very clean. The camp host was very helpful. Elkins resort is right next to the camp and they have a nice restaurants and sports bar. We really enjoyed our stay!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
