Beaver Creek Campground, Nordman, ID

Beaver Creek Campground is located in the Priest Lake Ranger District of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests (1 hr 59 min north of Coeur d'Alene, ID) with an elevation of 2,773 feet. There are a total of 42 campsites. The campground is normally open from the end of May to the end of September. 41 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 40 and 60 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Fees range from $24.00 to $85.00.

Mike and his lovely wife, who keeps the outhouse REALLY CLEAN, are amazingly wonderful people and hosts. Mike greeted us with kindness and continued to help us out when we needed it. He made a point of making sure we had what we needed and that we were all having a good time. He also was sweet and said goodbye to us and wished to see us again next year. Beautiful site, clean, short walk to the amazing lake. My students loved camping in the woods by the creek, the fire pit for making smores, telling stories, and star gazing. Thank you Mike for a wonderful trip!

A beautiful place to camp. A great swimming area and beach. Clean with good facilities. Family friendly and great hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only drawback was many yellow jackets and several beestings.

We love Beaver Creek CG! It's proximity to the Thorofare is great for kayaking to the upper lake and the site are very large and some semi private. I love that the sites are not on top of each other! Mike, the host and his wife are very friendly and helpful.

Great campground in a very good location. But, needs more toilet facilities for this number of campsites. In the morning and evening there is often a lineup waiting to use the toilet.

The campground was well managed, clean and a pleasure to be in. Additionally the campers around our campsite were friendly, courteous and respectful of our site. As well all campers adhered to the camp rules in general. Quiet hours and such. The only area I saw that the rules were not followed was folks do not always pick up after walking their dogs. It is not pleasant to come across these piles on the road while walking your own pet. This is no way a reflection on the hosts but rather the campers that are less respectful of others. All in all a great experience.

People are allowed to leave all their chairs, kayaks, paddleboards, clothes, coolers and other personal toys on the beach all day and all night so they virtually take up the entire public beach. The signs are not enforced and it has become a huge problem for people who also want to enjoy the lake and beach.

Absolutely beautiful! Campgrounds were clean, beach was easy to find (though no rail and non-stair part does have some roots, those with mobility issues should take caution). We saw deer, owls, ground squirrels, it was reallh lovely!

Lovely local. It would have been helpful to have a place to keep kayaks on the beach instead of at individual campsite. We had to miss Lions Head trail due to rain.

We've been camping here for many years and love it! Be prepared though to bring extra cash to pay for vehicles. Even though our reservation and payment included 2 vehicles, the camp host made us pay again for the vehicles. He said the website doesn't work properly and doesn't charge for vehicles and made us pay again. We paid it, we already had our site set up and there's no phone reception or recourse at that point.

We drove from Olympia WA to stay here but were not able to because no RV generators were allowed. Understandable however the phone number that was on our itinerary was not in service so we were unable to verify these details. I was unable to find any information on the site regarding generator use.
