Love this place.

Awesome campsites! Would be nice to have a camp host back again to keep this site up. One guy trying to cover 3 (or more) campgrounds in the area doesn't quite get it done, but he tries so kudos to him. You'd think that a government agency would realize that $7.25/hr is crazy low (I looked it up and couldn't believe it).

Lots of shady options and easy river access. Bathrooms really clean. Smaller and not too busy. Besides the river not much to do or see without an ATV.

Wonderful stay. Camp host is always a super nice gentleman.

Even handling 3 different campgrounds the host was the most helpful and gracious I have had the privilege to deal with.

The bathrooms were not as clean as in previous years. The hosts were friendly and courteous. No fires was a bummer!

Campground great, although spaces pretty close together. New campground hosts very good, helpful, did good maintenance. Fire restrictions in effect and all but one group obeyed. We have camped here yearly for over 20 years and this was by far our WORST experience. A large multigenerational group reserved and occupied several spaces next to us and they made it clear they were there to party (not to enjoy the outdoor experience). They had noisy toys, most adults talked constantly and none would speak at lower than a shout. We learned all about their lives when what we wanted to do was enjoy this beautiful place. It was impossible to get away from their constant and very intrusive behavior. Did obey quiet hours and hosts told us they can no longer request people be a bit more respectful or even remind them of the rules for the hostsown safety. We understand -- in this social climate, we didn't dare approach the group either, no matter how respectful we'd try to be. We mourn the apparent loss of wonderful outdoor experiences. That group could have just as easily partied in their own back yard or city park. Unfortunately they did not.

Great little campground. Fun place to fish in the early morning and eves. Plus enjoy the water to cool off in afternoon. Host was great and bathrooms were well stocked and clean.

Nice camp. Lot's of trees and shade. Quiet. No bugs. Nice hosts. River an easy stroll away. Did some fishing. Caught a 10" cuttie. Found some other fish up and down the river, but nice holes are few and far between.

The camp sites were clean and in excellent shape. The access to the river was great and it's neat to find that you can pump your own water right out of the ground using the provided water pump station.

As always , the campground is in great shape. Devils Elbow is our go to place for camping. There is decent privacy, and Dylan and Sabrina are fantastic camp hosts. They call everyone by their first name and are very accommodating especially when the camp is extremely full. Already have started booking for next year.

The group site was nice but be sure to bring items to level your RV due to the slope for drainage. We arrived 15 minutes after check-in time and there were still 2 campers in the site. The young hosts need to remind campers of check out time.

We had site 10 and it was an awesome spot! Ideal for a tent with a nice flat spot nestled under the trees. We had a roof top tent on a trailer so we had to set up on the pavement but still enjoyed a fire at the firepit. Easy walk to the river with beautiful views. Bathrooms were kept clean which was a plus and garbage cans spaced throughout the campsite. Entire campsite is secluded but neighbors are close within the campsite. Would return!

The camp is clean, the hosts are friendly and walk the grounds, and the site is our favorite!

This campground was well kept! Very clean with large spaces that aren’t on top of each other. Such a beautiful area! Quiet & no cell service!! Great place to reconnect with family & nature.

We have been camping there for years. The location is great and the campground is clean and well kept. The bathrooms are always clean as well. There are waterfalls near that are fairly easy to get to. We highly recommend this area for a break from technology and a relaxing experience.

Lots of old logging roads to explore. Love how quiet and peaceful it was here.

Shared camp host during our stay in Aug ‘22. (shared with Kit Price campground, where he stayed). Wasn’t this way in past years. Neighbors were good campers, so no issues…. but isn’t always the case - it’d be nice if there was a host on-site.
@JohnH2789214 · Camped on Jul 7, 2022 at Campsite #4
Campground facilities (restrooms, tables, fire rings) were in good shape. Sites were clean. We had no issues whiich was fortunate because there is no campground host on-site. This campground and two others are being supported by one host based at one of the other campgrounds. Saw him once in three days. He was very nice.

Restroom ran out of toilet paper first thing in the morning. How often do they come and service toilet?
@JamesW5759385 · Camped on Jul 1, 2022 at Campsite #12
It was decent. Almost exclusively trailer campers playing their music now which is unfortunate. It’s not as quiet or secluded as it has been in the past. I feel there are more campsites than there used to be as well which doesn’t help the crowding. It’s definitely way better than Farragut! But it’s still a bit disappointing
@DennisC7595884 · Camped on Jun 21, 2022 at Campsite #12
The bathrooms need to be cleaned more often than posted an more thoroughly cleaned.

The campground is immediately adjacent to the North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River. Fishing is one activity to do. In warmer weather (we were there in mid-September) floating the river would be a fun activity. The campground in general and our campsite in particular were clean. Restrooms were also very clean. THe host was very polite and friendly. The only drawback was the group camp. A very large group was present the last two nights we camped. They had at least 9 ATVs that they were driving around, sometimes going the wrong way around the loop. On Friday night, one of them was riding around the loop and yelling profanities at 11 pm or so. Not the host's fault--he can't be everywhere 24/7. We will definitely go back and hope for better group campers.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
