The Camp Managers were so nice and welcoming, and the park was well maintained and clean. Always love going to Pines Point!

This place is exactly what I hoped for! The group sites are separate from the camp which is nice. The river runs along the entire right side of the campground! River was clean. The bathroom in the group site area was the only downside. It smelled awful. We ran out of toilet paper on Saturday evening (we brought our own so no problem). The flies were terrible during the day- flying around the toilet. The hosts were awesome though. I would 100% go back.

This is the second year Ive camped with a group at Pines Point. Its lots of easy fun. The sites are so close to the river and the float is very relaxing. My only complaint is that the two large group sites are said to be big enough for 50 people. They are definitely not. It would be better if they were rated for 25 people and the nightly fee cut in half.

The campground is pretty, quiet, uncrowded and well maintained by the hosts. The bathrooms were very clean! But the dumpsters were nearly full and need something to prevent raccoons from strewing trash around. Our only major complaint is that we intended to float the river and walk back thru the campground, a major draw for this campground, but trees had fallen across the river so we couldn't get through without portaging. It would be great if someone would come remove the trees.

Site # 2. The private cul-de-sac with 5 campsites was very secluded and private from neighbors. Quiet. Was a little tight getting a 26' camper in there but worked out fine. Very rustic. Saw lots of tents, not a lot of "camper trailers." We were a short walk from "out house" and the river access. Spent day wading and fishing the shallow river between 1'- 4' deep. The lack of water and electric hook up is the only negative, but if that's what your into, it will be great. Also, ZERO cell service. Did land a salmon though in early September.

Walking the river trail was nice. It's a beautiful place. The camp hosts do a fine job keeping the camp in good shape. My experience was marred by campers who kept walking and rolling bicycles through my site to access the water. One night they woke me up doing this. They also tripped over the guy lines to my awning which took out the stake and took my awning down. They used the water spigot for washing fishing equipment and fish. I was disappointed to see fish scales when I went to get water at the spigot. perhaps the sign at the water spigot telling you not to do this needs to be bolder or more colorful to get their attention.

The directions to get to the camp ground weren't very good and we made a wrong turn, ending up in a difficult situation. We urned at the first road instead of the second. But once in the CG, it was spacious and quiet.

Easy to find. Cute campground with reserved spaces separated from the first come first serve spaces. Reserved spaces are partially secluded from each other, it was nice to have a little privacy. The man and woman who run the campground are super friendly and personable. Our first night they stopped by to say hi, introduce themselves, and let us know more about where various bathrooms, water sources, and they are located. As other reserved campers showed up we saw them show the same care. Cute little hiking trail along the river, however it seems that they are not used very often as the path is hard to follow at times. It seems that the big draw in this area is to utilize the river for fishing and other boat activities. Was a very peaceful visit during the week, I would absolutely recommend coming here to anyone!

Campground hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Firewood delivered right to our campsite was nice, although $7 for 4-5 pieces was a bit pricey. The river was clean and beautiful and the kids loved rafting in it and seeing snakes, birds and turtles. The restroom facilities were super clean and well maintained. We would definitely come back

I love the Pines Point campground. We have used the group spaces over the Fourth of July weekend for many years for a music community get together. We love that we are able to mingle around in the beautiful pine forest and take breaks from the heat by floating down the river. It is spectacular that this campground is placed near a unique bend in the river that allows for about a 30 minute float (faster when the water is high) without needing transportation to the beginning and from the end. The facilities are always clean and kept stocked. The hosts are wonderful people!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
