Great campsite! Great price, good phone reception and spacious sites.

This campground was great. It was close to Ely but far enough away to see great stars at night. My sight was level and the grounds are really well maintained. I had a clean water spigot across from my spot.

Campsites are well spaced with good privacy. Campground and bathrooms were clean, and campground hosts were around and working to keep things nice. Easy to get in and out of there for adventures or the great trails right there. We appreciated that they had water available. Peaceful mountain campground with trees providing good shade in each site. We've already booked a return visit and will definitely stay here every time we pass through the area.

Very clean and well kept. Vault toilets clean and odor free. Lots of space between the sites.

Midweek, the campground had only a handful of campers. Sites were spaced nicely with some privacy.clean and easily accessible. No highway noise. Great 1 night place... not much to do.

This is the newest and nicest USFS weve ever stayed in! The majority of sites are actually level, several are pull thrus so we didnt have to unhitched our towed Jeep. Outhouses were spotless. And the group sites we unbelielveable - large covered pavilions for dozens of people complete with volleyball court and horse shoes. Water faucets we working during our stay. Way to go to the USFS office in charge of this campground!

This is a gem of a campground. Fun trails to hike/walk on and the setting was dreamy! We will definitely return!

I accidentally booked a site on the RV loop, but thankfully my neighbors stuck to the rules about quiet time/generator usage. All of the sites are great for tent camping with proper pads and good drainage. My site had plenty of shade and I had cell coverage as well. There was a host site, but no one was there. This was a beautiful campground and I plan to come back.

Always a great campground, the hosts do a good job there.There's no water, hasn't been for years. Bring a bunch of your own, enough to put out your fire.

Campground has nice tent/rv pads, picnic tables, fire pits and BBQ grills. The pit toilet facilities were clean and well stocked with toilet paper. Mountain biking/hiking trails right from camp, OHV riding and x-country skiing/snow shoeing would be possible also. Potable water hydrant is now operationally when I was there in May 2024. Only about 10 miles out of Ely, so easy access to groceries etc as need. Enough trees for intervals of shade.

Nice campground!

The campground was clean and well maintained and the campsites are reasonably spaced. The location is a bit exposed near the top of the mountain so wind can be an issue. The night we stayed an RV near us ran their generator during quiet hours which was annoying.

I especially enjoyed the hiking trails for walking my dogs right behind my campsite. The campground was also peaceful.

Very nice clean campground with large sites. The campground host was friendly and informative. Great bike trails everywhere. There are water faucets but none worked. The road in is washboarded so take it slow. Both Verizon and T-Mobile worked great.We would go back when in the Ely area.

Clean camp with nice private sites!
@CynthiaF136923 · Camped on Jul 5, 2023 at Campsite #10
What a sleeper campground! Super well maintained, interesting high desert topography with plenty of trail space to explore. Only downside was the number of generators running constantly. Definitely a popular park with the big screen TV in the RV set. Nothing wrong with that personal choice, but tent campers might feel a little, yanno, drowned out.
@michaelk687828 · Camped on Jun 28, 2023 at Campsite #17
Getting the water back on would be beneficial. Host was nice. He was confused on epots but that was clerical error not him. He worked with our group quite nicely. We will be back.

We always enjoy Ward Mountain! Check-in was flawless, the campsite (21) was great, the restrooms were clean and the campsite was quiet. We will be back again.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
