Stayed in site 20 for 3 nights in June. Beautiful area. View of creek from trailer. Nice camp host.The only negative was the sunny picnic table at dinner.

One of my all-time favorite sites since I was a kid. The campgrounds were clean and the camp host was very friendly. Plenty of space between campsites so you really don't hear the other campers. We stayed at site 008. Half shade, half sun and tent only. There's a perfect spot by the creek for a hammock. I will definitely be brining my son back!

We went mid-June 2024 and had a great location right on the river. The river was very full due to the rains during the winter and the snow melt. We loved hearing the water at night when going to sleep. This is the first campground where they give each site a gallon water container to put out their fire at night. We always bring a collapsible water jug but appreciated this touch. Bathrooms were clean although no lights at night (not sure if that was just a fluke). Loved this location very scenic and saw deer and of course chipmunks.

We camped with family and friends on 6 separate sites. we had a wonderful time together. Some went to Bodie, some went canoeing at Twin Lakes, some to Mono Lake, some stayed in camp and went on creek walks with young kids. A bear did approach our campsite as we were all sitting around the campfire one night. We made lots of noise and bear ran off. Do use the bear boxes to store food and things that may smell like food to the bears

a clean camp, a Fantastic host, quiet, walking site 11 was amazing (12 and 13 look great too), and fishermen caught trouts just off camp site 11 WOW

Campsite #18 had no shade and it's in the middle so feels like you're in a fish bowl... kinda rough. Luckily I brought a beach umbrella so I had 4'x4' of shade. Nice bathroom facility with flush toilets. Well kept. The surrounding campsites take up the river front real estate so not a lot of opportunity to get your feet in the water, but some if you stay respectful of other's space. Fishing was decent but only caught stockers with little of their tails left. A short hike gets you upriver into the next campground, Paha. Showers nearby (maybe a mile) before Lower Twin Lake are decent and very welcomed. $3 in quarters for 7mins, which was enough time for me. Good market at Lower Twin. Mike is a very nice camp host.

We had a super time! Our site was perched high at the edge of the creek. Wouldnt work well with toddlers, but our 9 & 11 year old grandchildren had a great time & managed not to fall in. Our grandson caught his first trout, then 4 more over 2 days. Saw Sierra Glow from campground entranceunforgettable.

The tent site I was assigned to was right off the road and very exposed. A bit too crowded for me.

Campground was beautiful, campground host was kind and helpful, and just a wonderful spot to camp. The only complaint is there are large cracks in the pavement which have been there for years and need some repairs. I get that it is tough with the weather but I believe some repair work on them is a realistic expectation. Other than that, the best place ever to vacation.

Excellent campground - wonderful host - thanks Mike! Although #3 shows as an RV site, the paved parking pad is on a hill which could be quite a challenge. I was able to park my 19' trailer at the back of the pad on the level area, but anything much longer would require significant leveling.

Campsites we’re empty. Reservations should be held for 24 hrs then released if they’re not occupied. Not fair to those who actually appear.

ony issue i have is for all campgrounds in tha area is when making reservation they mention handcapped use. Me being 100% DAV regular army. i have seen people using handi capped spaces without plates or plaque showing they are handicapped or disabled . I spoke with local ranger station and more or less was told oh well what are suppose to do. I havve camped all over Nevada and northern Calif. Tahoe nf Plumas NF Modoc NF and was always checked for correct paper work this brakes my heart and upset me as foe fellow Disabled American Veterans about why Bridgeport Ranger District doesn't check to make sure people have the correct paper one example is Paha space #8 hope some one looks into this issue other than that Brian and Joy do a good job and always are hephful to me when i need assistance. I had an issue with the female camphost in Robinson creek north. Evidently and obviously she was saving sites for her friends or family. I know because she often was seen having meals with the campers in #37,38, & 39. Sites 37-52 are FF Sites and she was reserving them. Truly unfair. Also campers in 37 & 38 we’re staying longer than the posted 14 day allowance. I know because when I arrived on 8/31 those campers were supposed to leave 9/6 and suddenly their tags on the posts were changed to 9/20. Definitely against the rules and this camphost was allowing it. I arrived on 8/30 and spoke with the camper who was in site 39 and she said she definitely was leaving 8/31.So I told her I would like to take the site when she moved out. I find the camphost rushing behind me to tell me that site was already reserved. I asked her if the person moving in was present and the camphost said Yes. That camper did arrive until later that day. That was a FF site and I was first there but the camphost told me it was reserved. A FF site being reserved? The camphost was seen having lunch with that camper in #39. I have never had an issue with any person before in my 50 plus yrs of coming yearly to Robinson Creek. It’s been a family tradition for us and I was truly not happy. If you’re going to post rules then it should stand for all.

Have been camping here since I was a kid and it’s always been such a relaxing, beautiful experience! Great fishing, most relaxing, beautiful night skies! Clean campground and just overall great! 5 stars! The kids love it too! I’m glad to be able to take them so they can experience the beauty of nature.

Most beautiful area. The camp host was very nice. Keeps area very clean including the bathrooms. Something does need to be done with the trash bins, bears got into them every night we were there. Other then that it was perfect.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
