This is a great campground. We've been going here for years & the last 2 have been the best ever!! The hosts are amazing! The whole campground looks awesome....the cleanest bathrooms & sites we've ever seen. I hope you value these employees & keep them coming back. They make the whole experience so enjoyable. My family had a great time at Pete's Lake again this year! We have made this a yearly event.

Only thing I would suggest is adding a shelf or something in the bathroom to put stuff down especially at night like flashlight, wipes, clothes, etc especially for the ladies. Overall a great find. El be coming back. Outdoor showers by the bathroom would be amazing to rinse off.

I stayed at Petes Lake campground for 13 days and I loved it! The sites are roomy and with trees and bushes growing around they have a sense of privacy. The lake has a great beach and swim area. The hosts, Sara and Derrick, are great! They are both friendly and helpful. They work hard at keeping the campgrounds clean and inviting. The bathrooms are very clean and do not smell. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and plan on visiting the campground again!

The campground is clean and well maintained, quiet and beautiful! The camp hosts are friendly and very helpful. Our family has stayed here every summer for several years and plan day trips to Pictured Rocks, Marquette and several waterfall hikes within short distances, very conveniently located.

Campsite was clean, raked and pretty level for our roof top tent. The swimming area was a nice way to relax after a long day of hiking. The assistance we received from the camp chaperones was great. They supplied us with free firewood and directions to a few places. We will be camping here again with the whole family.

One night someone was shooting off very loud fireworks in the campground at midnight. The roads could also use a repaving. Great Campground and lake. JetSkis and motorboats tie up right next to the swimming area.

I love it. To many non-campers driving through.

We loved our adventure at Pete's campground! A short drive to Munising and the Pictured Rocks area - many trails, and beaches to explore. The campground feels so remote and quiet with large sites.

Could be the best campsite I ever booked. Had a beautiful little private sandy beach on the lake, and the campsite was large and very private. Definitely will be back!

We love this campground and have been coming here for over 10 years. It's always been a quiet place. Recently tho, speed boats and jet skis have ruined the quiet. The lake is a no wake lake, so those things, unfortunately, are ok to use.

Spacious site, nicely wooded. Wonderful drinking water. Conveniently close to Munising and Pictured Rocks area.

When we arrived, there were people set up in the site that we reserved and they wouldn't leave. It apparently was a mistake by the campground host. We had to stay in a different site for the night, the move the next day. The campground was very rustic.

I love Pete's Lake Campground! It's a rustic campground with large camp sites. You can easily doulbe up on sites with friends or family. The beach and lake are great.

One of my favorite campgrounds in the UP. It's really close to most of the touristic area, the beach and lake are awesome. The hosts are amazing keeping everything clean.

wonderful site! Very clean, we were able to just drive into our site after reserving it online for the holiday weekend. Good distance between sites, vault toilets clean and maintained. Would definitely come back again!

We camp here every year. This time We were in site 9 . Unfortunately the bathrooms were not kept up properly and were horrible this year. The site host did not provide options for bundles of wood on site this year either. Our thru the woods neighbor utilized their generator all night long.

Great location - 15 minutes from Munising. Very private. The private beach on the campsite was absolutely fantastic.

The paved, oneway road was perfect for the children with us when riding their bikes. The campsites were clean, well maintained, and peaceful.

The hosts were friendly & very accessible without being "in our faces" all the time. We had our kids & grandkids with us this time & we all enjoyed the stay very much. Between fishing, biking & swimming there was something for everyone to do.

The Pete’s Lake campground is one of the finest in the UP, and our experience with the campground hosts was the best ever. They do have a couple of days off per week, and the parties responsible for cleanup between campers in their absence dropped the ball with lots of stones, sticks and debris left by the previous occupants of our site. We had to find a rake and clean up before we could place our tents and rake a lot of sticks & other natural matter away from the firepit to minimize chance for stray fires. The pit bathrooms were immaculate and smelled very fresh; the hosts cleaned them at least once a day.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
