Very pretty camp site overlooking the lake. Plenty of tent space and good water access. The only reason I don't give the site 5 stars is that there is not even a pit toilet. It appears this would be an easy project for the Forest Service judging by the terrain, and would have an obvious environmental benefit

Having your own remote campsite on a remote lake sounds good in theory-the scenery, the solitude, the quiet- but... Site 2 does not have a privy so the woods around the campsite are full of TP. Previous campers did not know the meaning of "leave no trace". Site 1 on the other side of the lake was occupied by a large camper with at least 3 vehicles. For the 3 nights we were at Site 2, they ran their generator pretty much 24/7. Also shot off what sounded like a semi-automatic one evening. There's no one to monitor the sites as far as we can tell so responsible campers be aware. We did enjoy the loon on the lake.

A nice site that we try to get to every year. The nearby boat launch can be a little busy on weekends but isnt a big problem. A little buggy which of course is to be expected. Bring toilet paper. No cell service

This was our first, but not last, trip to Triangle. Absolutely beautiful. Serene and quiet with minimal noise pollution. Loons kept us company throughout the weekend, much to our delight. Only complaint is that previous campers left t.p. and garbage in several areas.

Very remote and private site. No picnic table. There’s a lot of space and an outhouse. Right on a lake. I have AT&T and had some signal.

Fireworks were left scattered all over the beach.

Fishing was absolutely horrendous. So I left 3 days early. The days per paid but couldn't see continuing to fish when there wasn't any.

Trash in the surrounding woods. Since these places went online they are visited by people who don’t have any respect for nature. Worst thing ever. A real tragedy.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
