We loved how small & remote this campground was. This site was private and had a short walking path to the lake. Unfortunately, the lake was not easily accessible due to vegetation. Highly recommend seeing "Big Springs" and visiting Pictured Rocks. We took the boat cruise from Munsing, a must do!

Great campsite! Bathroom was clean and camp site area was nice and open. Cell service on the at&t network was good. Only recommendations would be to bring bug spray as the mosquitos were bad at times without a campfire going.

Excellent site overlooking the lake. Drive back was not bad at all with a small camper. AT&T cell coverage was there with only about 1 to 2 bars but was useable. Toilet was clean and well kept. Mosquitos were abundant but bug spray kept them at bay. lake quality was excellent with crystal clear water.

Perfect spot!! Love that they have updated the firepit and added a grate to it. Camp grounds are pretty secluded. Outhouse is clean. The only down fall is there is no where to get rid of your trash (please add some bear proff garbage cans. Can't wait to book for next year!

Beautiful, serene, location on little bass lake! Site 4 is best suited for a smaller tent (we had a 4 person) or camper due to a slight grading of the site. Sites 4 and 5 are pretty close, but we had reserved 4 and 5 together so this wasn't an issue for us. Hardly any bugs the entire week, the toilet facility was kept clean, and the neighbors were respectful. The location to munising, manistique, seney, and local trails within the Hiawatha national Forest was perfect. This is definitely the rustic camping experience we were looking for and can't wait to come back next year!

Nice lake, nice sites, nice fire rings, but the outhouse could use some TLC. Lots of wasps in our site, but that could just be the time of year.

Close to the lake, beautiful campsite, great firerings with built in grates. Went here because some plans got messed up for a usual trip, plan on returning next year. Not far away from town if you need anything, and the Steuben service station is got most things youd need in a pinch anyway.

Beautiful setting and the lake is so nice! Quiet campsite with only 5 sites- absolutely loved our week long stay!

The view in the picture is not the view when we came in August but still a beautiful site. The campground is angled down towards the water so plan accordingly. Otherwise, great campground, clean bathroom, and quiet.

Overall good experience Took my girlfriend camping for first time—-rustic camping not a good start.

For roughing it, it was perfect. Limited camp sites right on the lake, quiet at night. For $8/night it was a steal.

Great site location. Had a little wear and tear on some of the fire pits but nothing extreme. Toilet was clean.

Lovely camping spot! All of the camping spots are well separated so you don't have to worry about noise or anything. The area was well looked after and had a beautiful lake to hike around. My biggest recommendation is to get there with at least half a tank of gas! I didn't realize how remote the site was so gas was a bit of a worry. But of course, that part is on my faulty research- not on the camp site. Would highly recommend it!

Excellent campground. Caught many small pike and some big bass.

WOLVES! And lots of them. Please be fully aware staying here at night. There was a huge pack of them howling right next to our campsite around midnight and woke us up. We ended up sleeping in the truck. I would not suggest sleeping in a tent on the ground here especially if you cook out and have the smell of food. We had a truck bed tent off the ground, but we still didn’t feel safe enough due to how close the wolves were. Other then that, it was a beautiful and clean campsite, and wasn’t crowded at all. There was only one other couple down the way. Very little cell service, almost none.

Site 6 was perfect for our 22 foot campervan. Will def stay here again. Sites are close but everyone was quiet and respectful

The sunsets were nice and it was quiet for the most part except when occasionally ATVs and random people drove through. Number 5 was not level and it was like a river bed when it rained. The map is not accurate as to the actual site layout. Site 4 and 5 are next to each other without any privacy at all. There isn't any cell service, water or garbage removal. The bathroom hasn't been serviced in months. The stairs to the water were difficult to maneuver. In our opinion site 3 is the best one.

Very nice camping spot! Love that you can walk to the water from your site. Very quiet and well maintained. Vaulted toilet needed to be cleaned out it was very full but other than that it was a amazing time and we can't wait till next summer!

Very quiet camping. 3 sites are Lakeview, 2, including this one, are not. It is close to site 3, so not super private. Site 1 is private but no view. Sites 4 and 5 are close to each other but have the best lake view. This one is site 2. Fellow campers were quiet and respectful. We brought Firewood with us but found some at the site also. Fire ring and lamp pole and table. Other sites had a grill that swung over the fire but it was missing at site 2. So bring your own.

Nice campsite, relatively close to Munising which was a bonus for the 4th of july. we were able to swim in the lake as well. we stayed at campsite #2 which was fairly close to #3 but not too bad. but further from # 1 and 4/5. There is also a pit toilet and picnic table that was nice.
@JerodV258 · Camped on Jun 25, 2021 at Campsite #2
The site was nice, although the map and pictures on the websites need to be updated. The access to the lake was pretty steep and washed out, but is manageable. The sites have a pit toilet that was well kept. Unfortunately their was severe damage to trees and garbage left around the sites from previous campers who don't know how to treat nature. The fishing was really good, perch, northern Pike, and bass...but their isn't any good swimming on this lake we could find.

Always a great spot. The campsite numbers and the map of little bass lake don’t match up. Sites are different numbers when you get there. Also the hand pump well is gone

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
