It is important to know that no water available at the group campsite, and the campground host was unwilling to say if the water in the other campground was potable. Looking over my pre-trip information, there was no notice about this lack of water.

Chilly nights but gorgeous days. Surprisedly this late in the season, we found downed wood to keep us warm in the mornings and evening. Leaf color just incredibly beautiful. The elk put on a great show. Big bull with all the girls is a magnificent animal and even got to see him bugle. Bachelor bulls sparring with each other was fun to watch. Camp was very clean, especially the bathrooms. Very well managed park. Our favorite.

It was so beautiful there. An elk walked right through our campsite. I would recommend this campground to anyone who loves nature. Tons of room for big groups too.

Thanks to all our Supporting Members

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
