This was a lovely tent only campground. Most sites were tucked away giving them a feeling of privacy. There was plenty of space. It as a short walk to Jenny Lake and the nearby amenities.

One of the best NP campgrounds. Well maintained facilities and super helpful and friendly hosts.

Jenny Lake Campground lacks showers and bathrooms for the size of this campground/ campsites. Unacceptable.

Great campsite, nice clean bathroom, got there late so didn't have time for a fire but the firepit looked inviting. Walked down to the lake in the morning and was lucky enough to enjoy a rainbow over the Tetons in the early morning light. We packed up the tent and walked around the south end of the lake to Inspiration Point (gorgeous view) and up the canyon until park rangers dealing with a bear issue didn't want us to go further, so we returned the way we came. It was a beautiful morning, the Tetons are of course amazing, saw moose and otter along the hike. Several other people on the trail around the lake and at Inspiration Point, but that was expected since it is short and easy. We will come back again and explore the Tetons more in the future, but unfortunately we had to continue our drive back to Michigan.

The Jenny Lake campground hostesses are amazing. I felt safe camping there and our camping space was well maintained.

Nothing can beat the location. The camp hosts Joe and Rena are fantastic. There is a big need for more bathroom capacity, including more showers. One of each for a campground of that size is not sufficient. Besides, located far away for those on the other end of the grounds. Road maintenance is overdue. I heard improvements are on their way. Great!!!

Magical from the minute you're warmly and professionally greeted by the long-time campground hosts Joe and Rena. And they remember you from year to year. They are as special as the Tetons.Facilities are always clean. Quiet time IS quiet time. Wildlife is proactively managed. Jenny Lake Visitor's Center and Marina are five minute walk and FULL of resources. Don't miss the nightly 7PM Ranger talks (FREE) and star gazing on New Moon nights. Monday night Hootenanny at Dornan's is fun. Saturday morning Farmer's Market in Jackson (summer) is a winner.Lifetime memories await!

They will write you up for leaving a water bottle on your picnic table unattended. WATCH OUT. Like literally write you a citation. narcs

Beautiful campground, quiet, peaceful, inspiring. This year Joe, Rena and Nancy (CG staff) were just the best. They were cordial, helpful and willing to share their knowledge.

This campsite is beautiful with huge sites, tons of trees, lots of privacy, and a short walk to gorgeous Jenny lake. Some sites have views of the Tetons. Paying for showers is annoying. The camp hosts were fantastic, helpful, and generous in giving advice and even loaning some necessary camping items.
@EllenS9303532 · Camped on Jul 21, 2024 at Campsite #4
Lovely campground right on the lake. Parking was definitely tight, and unfortunately a lot of campers parked in front of our site at night to use the bathroom. Overall it was great and I would love to stay again.

Fantastic campsite, lovely managers. We stayed two nights, in a really nice and quiet spot. Had deer coming through the site. Theres water points near the sites.

We stayed in Campsite 21. It had good shade and wasnt terribly buggy. The showers were very clean (for a campground) and welcome after backpacking. The sites are very close together and there is not much privacy between them.
@MelindaH406085 · Camped on Jul 19, 2024 at Campsite #13
The campground is fantastic, though the bathroom facilities are quite "rustic." Make sure you know the location of it before booking if easy access is important to you. There are definitely bears about, though we never saw one only heard from rangers that there are particular ones that came by regularly.

Great campground and great views of the Tetons. Visitor center is within walking distance and Jenny Lake is beautiful.
@NateS9A5D4A2F6 · Camped on Jul 15, 2024 at Campsite #4
The campground was fantastic. Staying in the campground gives you everything in the Jenny lake area without having to experience all of the crowds. Watching the mountains change from our campsite was so recharging. There was so much wildlife in the area. The camp hosts were helpful and friendly. This quickly became a campground that we will be revisiting.

The scenery is stunning! The campground is super convenient if you want to spend your time at Jenny Lake. The Campground hosts and the NPS Animal control staff are extremely vigilant about ANYTHING being left out that could attract bears. You have to keep a very clean campsite.Only one bathroom for the entire campground which for some sites is not very convenient.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
