Nice location, good camp sites with privacy. Clean restrooms. Our camp host, Pete, was very friendly and helpful.

Camp ground host, Pete, was very accommodating and a pleasant conversationalist. The campground was exceptionally quiet sans the motorcycles driving on the Highway 65. The tables and benches have covers that make it nice for keeping clean, and playing games without slits to deal with. For internet, you can go to the Visitor Center which is about a 1/4 mile hike away. I have never had campground bathrooms this fresh smelling. Not sure what he's doing, but it was great. Cobbett lake itself is small, but fishing for rainbows was good with most of the ones caught and released being recently stocked. We went out on paddle boards. I'd recommend some of the larger lakes nearby if you want to get more paddling in. Not a fan of site #9 for tents. There isn't a spot to set up, so we just set the tent up on the small pull-through road that is just for this site, so no impact to anyone else in the campground. The sites are very shaded, so it was nice for sleeping in, which is perhaps why it was so quiet. Road biking is not ideal as the only paved road to ride on is Highway 65 and there isn't much if any of a shoulder on it, but everyone was very conscientious. Had a visit by a Sow and her two cubs one evening on the trail above our site. No worries, she just marched them down the trail, but clearly you need to keep a clean campsite.

Campground is great, host is great, bathrooms are great.Site 9 is not conducive to tents. Had to set up on the pull through road, which works, but the site itself doesn't have a flat location for pitching a tent that isn't on the road.

This campsite is in Grand Mesa with access to several lakes and trails. Incredible views.

Campground was very well kept and quiet. Bathrooms were kept very clean as well. There are a lot of mosquitoes so definitely bring a lot of bug spray. Overall a very beautiful and relaxing place to camp!!!

Jersey, the campground host, was amazing! She was very pleasant, answered all our questions and gave us great information on the area as a whole. She knew we were interested in the wildlife and she gave us specific information for specific areas. It truly made our group experience great! Five stars for her!

The best!! if you want to feel the Colorado wildness this is the spot. Campsite was on the lake, clean and plenty of room.

The campground was just barely open when we checked-in. Some roads were still muddy although easily passable. There were still patches of snow in the campground and along the trail to the visitor's center. The mosquitoes were FIERCE!! Have bug spray on hand and/or plan to wear protective clothing (or both!). We put both our paddle boards on the lake and saw so many fish that we pulled out our fishing gear. LOTS of fish to catch!

Corbett Campground closed with 24-hour notice due to water line repair. This was on a Thursday and as of Monday morning no work had begun. Poor rating for both the short notice and the fat we could have camped there over the weekend.

Campsite was good. The mesquites were terrible and the area needs some abatement. Too bad the area has no dump locations. Why don’t the campgrounds have faucets that you can hook up a hose an fill trailer?

Beautiful campsite!! We saw a ton of wild life. Bathrooms were decent. Lake was beautiful, and the camp host was super nice and attentive. Only downside is the amount of non-stop mosquitoes!! Don’t forget your bug spray! We are still itching a week later.

No contact with the hosts. Reservation signs were out of date when we got there. Host/hosts were absent until evening of our arrival??Restrooms were clean. The one way sign that 'directs' traffic doesn't work for campsite 9...you have to pull in from the opposite direction if you hope to maintain level. It is a quiet campground.

We had an excellent trip! Overall the campground is shaded, quiet, and well maintained. The camp hosts were kind and very helpful. The mosquitos were bad, but we were able to control them with a couple of Thermacells. Highly recommended!

Cobbett Lake campground is a quaint little campground with an older forest and located right next to a small lake. Bridget, the campground host, was very attentive and even introduced herself when checking in for we have not experienced a campground host introducing themselves to us before. The campground is kept clean. Highly recommend camping at Cobbett Lake!!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
