I had personal belongings removed from my campsite while staying in my paid campsite,, BY the host ranger on duty dude Mark. Dude was wrong! But he did bring back 2 of the 3 items he took. His actions ruined my trip.

Its a really beatiful campround, we even prolonged our stay for 1 night. The only problem is that the showers and laundry are getting closed very early, like at 3:45 pm.

No shower after 4pm! You can't have it after your nice trail in the grand canyon.

Very nice landscape and well spaced. Bathrooms were clean. Nice to see the resident Elk. Wish the laundry facilities were open past 4PM. Very very friendly and helpful staff at check-in.

My first night at Mather campground it snowed during the night and it became unbearably cold. I had to abandon my site and only stayed one of the 3 days I paid for.

Enjoyed staying at Mather Campground. Had laundry and shower facilities away from the campsite but it worked out OK. A large group of people took the campsite close to mine and they played music loud in the morning and evening. Although they followed the quiet hours rule and turned off the music, I wish the park had some controls over the campers' loud music during the day.
@KristellR95D13 · Camped on Oct 30, 2024 at Campsite #185
The campground is very peaceful, neat and well located to visit the park by foot or with the shuttle. We loved our stay. There are showers and a laundry room for a small fee. A supermarket is withing walking distance and restaurants a short drive away.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
