Out of our almost 2 weeks in Glacier Many Glacier was our favorite. A great variety of hiking trails in this area and having the ability to walk everywhere from the campground was so convenient. We had 2 campsites. One was along the river and had a decent amount of privacy and we wish we had it for more nights. The other wasn't necessarily terrible but was definitely set up weird with the picnic table almost in the parking area between it and another site. Honestly we would have taken any site we could get so no real complaints. The one item that was a real bother is the hand dryers in the bathrooms. They are so loud! Be prepared if your site is near a bathroom

Bill the camp host was extremely kind and helped us find a better site more suitable for our needs even when the campground was close to if not completely sold out. Very quiet- facilities were very clean.

Quiet campground located in a desirable location with mature trees.

Gorgeous campground, trails, food and amazing views! The 3+ miles on gravel before getting to the park entrance prevented giving 5 stars.

Many Glacier has my heart. It really is the ultimate best campground of all in Glacier!

This campground was on our buckets list for our Glacier trip and although it took a miracle to book a site here last minute, we somehow did it and it was totally worth it! The proximity to so many great hikes and being surrounded by mountains makes this our favorite Glacier campground of the ones we visited. FYI: You do not need to get a Many Glacier road pass if you secure a campgroundsomething we were unsure about until we got there.

Great campground with active on site hosts & nearby rangers. Flush toilet bathrooms, plentiful water spigots, and pay showers nearby. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

If you can snag a site at this campground DO IT! Perfect location, you can walk to all of the trailheads nearby. Most sites are private, bathrooms are clean with running water. 10/10!

I had a great stay. The campsites are smaller here than in Apgar, for example. Campsite R101 is pretty much merged into this campsite--the gravel area overlaps each campsite. I was confused when I first got there because it looked like one campsite. As an FYI, the only thing supplied in bathrooms are toilet paper; I think some restrooms may have hand sanitizer available but don't count on it. There is also a gray water area dump for dishwater and such located in the center of each restroom (can't dump food in there). There is a freshwater pump right next to the campsite. The restaurant and visitor center are a short walking distance away with flush-toilets and hot water.

The campground location is a 10/10. Bathrooms were much better than the standard borderline deplorable of NPS run campgrounds. The only negative is that some of the sites have almost no space to put even a small tent. If we had a full size tent we would have had to place it right up to the fire ring.

We stayed at site 56 and it was a nice pull through driveway with a separate area for the 2 tents (7-person and a 3-person) shaded nicely by pines. We could hang a hammock and clothesline and had our own bear box at the site. Neighbors were close but it was a quiet campground. Showers ($4 for 8.5 min), store, and restaurant were a short 2 minute walk away at the motor inn. Public wi-fi was available, too, but had to stay near the camp store. They had laundry facilities there, too, but we didnt use them. The camping was super convenient to hiking!! Realizing how close we were to a hot restaurant meal, we took advantage after hiking to Grinnell Glacier. Would definitely recommend this site and campground!

Campground host was very pleasant. Sites were generally well wooded. Flush toilets clean and functional. Showers were difficult to find, off a poorly-marked dirt path, dirty with soiled shower curtains.

Pleasant, small wooded sites with walkability to most trailheads, the lodge, and camp store. If you have a trailer make sure you check length restrictions for each site, or you will find you don't fit.

My favorite place in Glacier!

Campsite is directly next to another; bathroom is right behind your campsite & is very clean; there was a bear at the end of the loop mid-day; shaded by trees; careful of your car as pinecones fell on mine after it rained; token showers, convenience store right next to Many Glacier Campground

Camp sites are good, but facilities are outdated. Some bathrooms have no light, or broken sink. At one point one was out of soap.Showers have to be shared with the motor lodge guests and cost $4

This is a nice campsite at Many Glacier Campground. There are several wonderful hiking trails that can be accessed from the campground without the need of a car. You also have access to the camp store, showers and laundry near the Swiftcurrent Inn.

Amazing place. Campground hosts and park rangers were super helpful and very nice people. It was well worth the online effort needed to obtain a campsite through Rec.gov

Showers available for small fee. Site was well maintained. Host provided lots of trail information. All in all great stay.

Really great spot. Close to the bathrooms and really close to the inn that had the restaurant/gift shop and closer to the showers as well. Really clean campground and good enough privacy considering how close sites are. Close to the Grinnell glacier hike, making it really nice not to have to fight for parking at the trailhead since you can just walk from your tent. 10/10.

The dirt road on the way in....keep it dirt. If you pave it, you are inviting people to go even faster. You need the sheriff on that road to issue speeding tickets. Seriously!!!!!! people slow down you gonna kill all the animals you came to see. Also at the swift current motor in SHARE the internet pass code so we can search for a campground opening instead of driving all the way to Babb. Monitor campers better for bear safety. I saw a guy scraping off his griddle into the bushes at one of the sites last year when that 4 yr old grizzly was cruisin the campground in July. You know the one that they euthanized/ murdered. These campers that do these things should be ban from all national parks for life. Or worse.

Fabulous place to camp with clean restrooms, forested spots near a river and most importantly some of the best hikes in Glacier are within walking distance so no stress about getting up super early find a parking spot. It was also nice to have the Swiftcurrent Inn within walking distance for showers, ice, ice cream and a cold draft beer if so desired.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
