Really clean secluded campground with plenty of spacing between most sites (loop B) the sites are ok size, some have barely enough flat area for a single tent but its plenty if you're using a van or camper setup. Great host, easy water access and easy river access. plenty of shade for the summer at most sites, its densely wooded.

Friendly and welcoming host, nice trail surrounding the campground. Site 75 is mostly in the side of the road, so not that much privacy. Other sites seemed better but it is hard to know that when you book online.

Amazing location! felt like a forest from a fairytale. We felt like home away from home And Iron creek waterfall is only 20min drive with amazing, cold, clear water.

So much to explore here, peaceful, and no cell service made it the perfect getaway from everything. Campground has pit toilets which were constantly attended to and clean. I wasn't able to find a map of the campground showing where the trails to the river are, but discovered on our own there are entry points at each loop. Camp host was very nice and greeted everyone on his rounds.

This campground is located in old growth forest. The camp sites are nicely laid out amongst the beautiful Cedar, Douglas Fir, and Hemlock trees. Water was readily available. Pit toilets were clean and well stocked, and yes, they had the usual smell, but they were clean nonetheless. Paved sites, fire rings, and a onsite host make this campground an easy one to return to. It's also relatively close to the Windy Ridge area of Mt. St. Helens. The road to the mountain is paved although it is quite rough in places due to heaving. The road from Randle to the campground is also paved, with similar heaving in the roadway in spots. All in all, Iron Creek is a delightful place to spend some time enjoying the forest and close proximity to Mt. St. Helens.

Site 81 is a great site at Iron Creek Campground. It is a little more open than other sites but is in a quiet corner and you can hear the river all night long. Good size spot and great space between neighboring sites. Hope to stay again in the future.

Iron Creek is a beautiful campsite among stunning old-growth forest. We enjoyed hiking the trails around the campground and appreciated the privacy of our site in between the massive trees. We also drove up to see Mt. St. Helen's at Windy Ridge Viewpoint, which was breathtaking. We'd like to come back another year to do more hiking in the area - it's a real gem!

The most beautiful campground in the midst of large trees and full underground foliage. The river is beautiful and our kids spent hours playing on the shore. The sites are situated in a way that they are all private and quiet. There is no cell service, which is a bonus if youre looking to get away from it all. We will be back!

What an amazing campground! This is one of the few places to see so many old growth trees and glacial blue waters outside a National Park. Clean restrooms and level private campsites. Also, a great area to ride bikes along the Cispus river between Iron Creek and Tower Rock Campgrounds.

What A beautiful campsite 20 minutes from civilization. The hosts were spectacular and did a incredible job maintaining the order and cleanliness of this campground. It goes without saying the bathrooms were the cleanest toilets I have encountered on my travels. People with trailers need to be a little careful coming in from town due to some Uneven road surfaces. The hike around the perimeter of the campground is heavenly, especially for the dog. Thank God, only a small portion of this campground was damaged due to an unattended campfire incident last year.

We tent camped at site 58 in late June. It was wooded with lots of privacy from neighboring campers. The sound of the flowing river lulled us to sleep. The vault toilets were well maintained and always stocked with TP. The only reason I gave a 4 rather than 5 start review is that the picnic tables are not moveable. We lucked out that we were able to put our screen house over the table. It came in handy more for rain while we were there than bugs like in the midwest. It would not have worked for us at many of the sites. We highly recommend this campground. We hiked and also took our tandem bike on a nice quiet paved forest service road from the campground.

We stayed in D87. The campground is clean, quiet and beautiful with all the old growth trees and thick vegetation. The restrooms were clean and our picnic table at our site was new. There was a great little rocky shore where we could put our feet in the water. The camp hosts were super nice! Great campground!!

Pavement drive waysWater spigot right next to our site. Clean bathrooms with trash bins. Alcohol sanitizer dispenser in restrooms. Large garage bin at the entrance of each loop. Friendly and helpful host.

This is an amazing campground. The hosts were super friendly and the campground is in pretty good shape. The forest and surrounding areas are lush and the nearby river is amazing - particularly in summer. We have camped here multiple times and have enjoyed our visits.

We got lucky with a last minute reservation at the iron creek campsite and a had very enjoyable time at this campground. The river and hiking trail that surrounds this campsite makes it very special and most of the campsites seem well spaced with foliage buffering your site from your neighbors. Toilets were kept in best condition possible. It was a a busy holiday weekend packed with kids, bikes and dogs but we managed to find quiet time outside with our pup hiking some amazing waterfalls nearby and more waterfalls a bit farther away. It is an enchanting area to survey, we watched elk running along one hike and grouses along another. Excited to visit again. Only thing, that was kind of confusing , was the lack of recycling. Regardless, we look forward to staying at iron creek again.

Camp sites were well maintained as was the campground. The camp host was really nice and helpful. Trails to the picnic area could have been marked better. Unfortunately we encountered a campsite with 2 large dogs and a medium sized dog that were not leashed and charged out of their site to the driveway where my 4 year old granddaughter came face to face with one of the dogs that was barking and right in her face. The adults in the campsite did not even call their dogs back.

Each campsite was roomy. We had basically no bugs (early Sept, 2022.) Nice loop trail. Nice host.

This is a great place to camp. Beautiful trails along the river. We stayed two nights. Both nights, campers were quiet once it got late. The bathrooms however were smelly and there were no lights.

I tried to cancel my 1 night reservation but after waiting on hold for 35+minutes I hung up. Unacceptable customer service! No wonder so many sites are unoccupied .. Unable to cancel reservation!

Loved this ground. The only cons were that the mosquitoes Were fierce and pit toilets. Otherwise beautiful, quiet, and secluded!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
