Campsite was nice and quiet with an easy walk to the reservoir. The reservoir is beautiful! Bathroom was clean. There was no water available at site so bring your own to put out your fire. Camp host was friendly. The spot for the tent was really bumpy and uneven so we ended up putting the tent on the parking spot behind the car.

Beautiful, spacious, and quiet campsites. We stayed in multiple campgrounds that were within an hour of Glacier National Park throughout the week and Lid Creek was our favorite.

Great campground find. A ways off the main road but well worth the drive time. Beautiful sites without feeling too close to your neighbors. A walk along the lakes shoreline was breathtaking.

camp host was awesome. We had a large group with numerous reservations for a family reunion. would like to suggest a camp full sign to prevent campers driving through campground. please reopen the group campsite at Lid Creek.

We did not stay. It was a very far from the entrance to Glacier National park. We tried to contact the concierge company but got ne response. We had been trying to change the dates and the Recreation.gov site was not responding.

If you attract mosquitos as I do, then bring lots if deet; it's the only thing that works. The camp host is a professional at keeping the outhouse super clean.

This is a nice campground. Hosts were great! Rough road getting in but we had a great time. No hook ups.

We had 8 sites reserved for a family reunion. Would you consider opening up the group site at Lid Creek. We stayed there before it was closed. Perfect camp location for reunions. Need more speed bumps in Lid creek.

Nice remote campsite with an excellent host who was friendly and informative. Bathrooms were clean and did not smell. The ride to the site was a dream for motorcyclists. Twists, curves, beautiful scenery and the Dam was something to behold.

Trudy the host(ess) was welcoming and informative. The campground is great, cell service (for a service call on our RV) was a bonus.

Great campground right on the water, with trails throughout.

Beautiful, peaceful, and quiet location and site overlooking the water. Wild flowers were in full bloom. Easy access to water to swim or put in your boats /yaks. Camp hosts were friendly, informative, and so on top of things! Be prepared for a bumpy road leading down to Lid - but well worth it! Definitely planning to go back and spend more time!

This campground is amazing! The drive across the Hungry Horse Reservoir Dam and along the lake shore to access the site is a wonderful experience in itself (though maybe not the best for those scared of heights). We really enjoyed our stay- the sites are well kept and relatively private. Easy access to the reservoir and sweeping mountain views. Last, the hosts are wonderful- kind, cheerful, and helpful! We felt secure and cared for during our stay :)

Campsite was great -- quiet, shady, near the water, level, all that we hoped for. And the campground host was excellent. He was friendly and accessible, offered assistance, and was otherwise respectful and discreet. I'd definitely come back.

Decent ... no good spots for our tent though
@MelodyM553 · Camped on Jul 30, 2021 at Campsite #18
The campground is a 35-40 minute drive south from the main road (US Highway 2). The last mile is down a heavily rutted and pot holed dirt road. Hungry Horse reservoir is next to campground for swimming and boating. Campground hosts were super friendly and helpful.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
