A nice open group site with plenty of room for your group to spread out. Also the tables/eating area was definitely nice to have. I did wish that there would be a little more shade over the tables for a place the campers could cool off from that summer sun.

We reserved three nights at Singletree campground. We arrived to find the entire campground full of youth between the ages of fourteen and seventeen. Kids were walking and running in groups and riding bicycles everywhere in the campground. It was worse than trying to walk through the mall. Vehicles were parked everywhere and the overflow area had vehicles and camp trailers to the point of over flowing. Needless to say we did not stay in the campground despite our reservations. The camp host could only apologize because the situation was out of his control and at this point there was no option for a refund. I wont take the chance of staying at Singletree ever again even though we have stayed there in the past. This was the worst experience we have ever had at a campground thus far!

A cool, quiet camp ground even with 2 large groups nearby. Restroom maintenance left something to be desired though with trashcan overflowing all day

Singletree is a wonderful location surrounded by pine trees. Most of the camp sites are spacious with room for tents. The camp host was helpful. Singletree is at 8800 feet which gets you out of the heat, yet it is an easy 30 minute drive to the north end of Capital Reef or a 50 minute drive from Calf Creek Falls in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Boulder mountain is a hidden gem of Utah.

Nice location close to Escalante and Capital Reef with large campsites.

Hosts were great. They had firewood for sale. Campgeound area was beautiful. One hike led to a waterfall. Another hike led to a beautiful open valley.

Great site. It was convenient to have the dump station.

Singletree was a delight. More signage on hwy 12 from the north and south would help determine the proximity to single tree. There is a nice river running through single tree, which attracted many. This area of the county offers so many wonderful opportunities to visit so many national parks and public land.

It was a very quiet campground. It was only for a night.

This is a pretty campground and close enough for us to enjoy Capital Reef NP. We made reservations but when we arrived, there were no indicators at our site that it was reserved (nothing on the post), and we felt lucky that no one else had tried to take our spot. The camp hosts seemed unavailable throughout our stay. Since the only trees in the campground are pines, I wanted to venture out on a walk to where I could see some Aspens in the distance, but there is a fence around the entire campground, making this impossible. There is a short trail (that goes through the fence via a gate) down to a little waterfall, and that was a very nice hike. Overall we enjoyed our stay here, even though we spent most of our time in the park.

A lovely and quite campground with lots of trees. We stayed here instead of Fruita Campground because we wanted more seclusion and trees. Looking back on it, I would have preferred to stay at Fruita Campground for ease of access into Capitol Reef for hiking. Singletree is about 30 minutes away from the park.

Pleasant quiet campground with a lot of nice trees. Reasonably good condition, though the toilet building needs some TLC. The recreation.gov site says the campsite has wifi for $5 but the HughsNet system was broken when we were there. Without wifi, cell reception is spotty.Keep in mind Single Tree is at a higher elevation than Capital Reef NP, so it will be colder overnight than whatever the forecast low for the park is.

Really nice and quiet place! Clean facilities and a lot of space to camp. When it started to get dark we heard some cows which was very entertaining.

Loved this campground. Beautiful and quiet. The camp hot was so friendly and accommodating. I ended up staying in site 21 since it had more shade, and I highly recommend it!

Great experience… I would suggest camp installs hand soap/sanitizer dispensers in bathrooms. Beautiful campground and spacious sites!

Sandy keeps the campground in tiptop shape. It's a lot of work for one individual, but she keeps everything running as smoothly as possible. I will return on a regular basis

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
