Our group site, wild iris, was awesome! It is a huge group site and we had plenty of room! It was odd that a line of trees separated the tables area from the camping/trailers/cars area. But it worked out fine.

The campground is beautiful with a creek flowing on one side and a beautiful lake. No paved trail but we like riding our E-bikes to the lake on the gravel road. The road to Powell Point is right before you enter the campground and is so worth the drive. The view at the top is beautiful! The campground is also close to Bryce Canyon. No hookups or dump station, however there is water available to fill up your camper. Be prepared to drive your trash out 8 miles to the dumpster. Weve been here twice and will go back again.

Great campground. Close to Bryce Canyon, but yet far enough away to not be bothered with the high volume of people visiting Bryce Canyon. Pine Lake is very close by to enjoy kayaking and water activities.

The site is ideal for large groups - plenty of space, secluded from the other campsites, a big group fire ring, and walking distance to the beautiful lake. The site allows up to 100 people, but there are only three vault toilets and a limit of 12 vehicles.

We really enjoyed our time at Pine Lake! The campground was peaceful and the other campers were quiet. We loved the sound of the creek as we slept! Campsites are spacious, also, plenty of bathrooms, and water spigots! The lake is beautiful, and we really enjoyed watching the bald eagles as they swooped down for fish!! They were much luckier than us when it came to fishing!! We didnt have a fish dinner!

The campsite was nice - clean vault toilets and plenty of water spigots. The major downside for me was the lake. It wasn't good for swimming (marshy with leeches), and it was a long walk away to get to. There also wasn't much for hiking spots around the campground.

Beautiful campground and lake. Camping spaces are large and the campground is well maintained.

as amazing. There was a nice little creek running behind it. It had great privacy as well as great solar exposure for our rooftop panels. Very surprised to have excellent T-Mobile service as well. The drive from here to Bryce was only like 20 minutes. You can easily walk to Pine Lake from camp or just take the first left out of camp if you want to drive to the lake to launch your boat or fish from the shore. Our spot says it was limited to 30 ft RVs - but we could have easily fit two of ours in there (we have a 28 ft RV). What a gem of a campground - easily worth it to be off the beaten path a bit. There is no doubt we would stay here again next time we are traveling through the area.

Enjoyed our two nights at Pine Lake. Camp host was helpful when we checked in and later bought firewood. Bathrooms are vault but clean and stocked with toilet paper. No bear boxes but didnt have any issues with wildlife.

This was a nice campground with pit bathrooms and water stations. It is off the beaten path but only one half hour from Bryce Canyon National Park. You have to buy wood for a fire as all the downed wood has been cleared up and burnt. Another 30 minute drive on forest service roads takes you to Powell Point trail head. The parking lot has a beautiful view and the trail is about 8 miles.

This is an incredibly beautiful campground. We had no expectations going in and were floored. Great access to Bryce.

I’m from Southern California and I’ve traveled to camp at Pine Lake campground for the last 3 summers. I love Pine Lake. I just camped there the week before 4th of July 2023 from Tuesday-Thursday. It was so peaceful. We had no neighbors compared to the last two years when we camped from Thursday to Sunday. The bathrooms were also a lot cleaner since there was only a few parties using it. The campsite was clean when we got there and the other campsites were also clean and beautifully kept. I love that the lake is walking distance (10-15 min) from the campsite. Last year the lake was way empty because of the dry winter and it made me so sad but this year it was so full again! The water was a little chilly but refreshing. I hiked to the other side of the lake and the view was better because of the red rocks. I recommend walking to the other side of the lake to check it out (12 min walk). Easy access to Bryce Canyon. We did the sunrise hike one morning. We left our campsite at 5:05ish am and arrive to Bryce Canyon by 5:40 ish am. It was so beautiful. Camp host was super helpful when we needed cardboard to jump start out fire. Campsites always have shade. Stargazing is amazing. Water is easily accessible. I love pine lake! I’ll be back again 100%.

We really loved our trip! The camp site and lake are beautiful! The bathrooms were well maintained and our camp host was very nice. The only thing we would plan better for was the mosquitos. We came home pretty ate up. Absolutely will visit again.

Great views, beautiful trees and shrubs, clean campgrounds, very clean toilets.

Stayed overnight before a day in Bryce Canyon NP. Scenic, plenty of room for tents, good facilities. In case anyone in a similar situation who has not yet realized this yet: a bit colder overnight than some of the other places we stayed in our Arizona/Utah National Parks road trip due to the elevation.

Nice campground in the middle of the pines. Walking distance to Pine Lake. Clean vault toilets. Quiet. Would recommend.

The campground was beautiful and well taken care of. Surprised to see other campers (from a church group) hacking live trees in the campground with a hatchet. Would come back!
@RobertB1128095 · Camped on Jun 1, 2023 at Campsite #17
This is a small campground in the forest that is well maintained and beautiful. Sites are big and within walking distance of a creek then lake. We saw a coyote and ospreys. Camp host was great. Potable water spigots are located throughout the campground but don’t have threads so you’ll need a water bandit to use a filter. There’s a long dusty road to get here but it’s reasonably well maintained. We’d come back

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
