I generally don't like to pick campsites based on maps and a site photo on a website, but that seems to be the reality nowadays. The campground is nicely situated. I feel the restrooms could be improved though (based on the one located near my site). The TP roller placed behind the toilet makes for an uncomfortable reach back. The stall had been removed, so now only one person can use the bathroom at a time. The room was not as clean as it could have been compared with others I used during my teo week trip to CO and UT.

Very pleasant and nice river walk directly from the site.

Bathrooms were clean. Great location! Very close to Everything Dinosaur!

The only issue we had was a couple of fire ant beds.

The restroom, dumpster and firewood were allconvenient, and nice spacing between camp sites. The rangers were friendly and the evening programs (including star party) were enjoyable. Many sites have nice shade. On the downside, the quiet of Loop A was disturbed by a lone generator. Many of us want to hear nature,not someone's 2 stroke engine, which carries quite a distance outdoors. Perhaps teh park could consider generator free loops, like Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef.

Simple campsite with little/no tree cover. Great location. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can there be a no generator area, we had to suffer 4-hours of constant generator noise.

Overall very nice campsite with some nicer shaded lots.Wish generators were banned, really wrecked the second evening we stayed when two groups ran theirs for hours.

Excellent camp site, close to the quarry, and amazing scenery.

Too hot. 130 in an unshaded site. No way to change through Recreation.gov, no Ranger and no host. We left, when we'd have preferred to change sites. Too bad.

Ranger Eric and Margaret were so wonderful, their junior ranger stuff made it so fun for our daughter. Beautiful sights, refreshing river dips, and so much more. Even though it was hot, our experiences will last a lifetime. Thank you!

Beautiful trees

Open and clean campsite, though the initial site that we booked was pretty small so we were able to switch to a bigger one after talking to the host. Something to keep in mind depending on how many people you have.
@Katherine85413 · Camped on Jul 20, 2024 at Campsite #29
Our favorite trail so far is the Sound of Silence! The campground is spacious enough, but theres really no trees as boundaries. No shade at all on our campsite. Our campsite is across the bathroom. It is clean. The site sits next to Green River. Camp hosts are friendly!

Liked the campsite. Easy access to the river including a little swim area for the kids. Have to be careful of the squirrels... They like to steal food

We had a nice, rather hot, time in the Green River Campground.
@CandiceB53327C · Camped on Jul 9, 2024 at Campsite #30
Camp host was fabulous. Spot was clean and level. Plenty of room. Spot 30 is a corner spot but it was mostly private and shaded. Quiet. The paths to the river were not far.

Green River was a decent campground along the river, although access from our campsite was a little difficult. It was a good location for seeing the sights in Dinosaur Natl Monument. I would stay at this campground again.

There is no waste disposal for RV waste tanks, and while they have water, they don't allow filling the RV's fresh water tank by hose. The river looks ugly and dirty, so it's no wonder they named it the Green River.
@KatinkaD3AE7D2 · Camped on Jul 7, 2024 at Campsite #1
Beautiful campground! We stayed in site 1 (A-loop), nice and level site with lots of shade, well maintained. Too bad we could only stay for 1 day. If we ever come back, we will stay again!
@LeanneH5E94470 · Camped on Jul 5, 2024 at Campsite #16
Our site was a back in site with plenty of space.
@DaveA1580673 · Camped on Jul 3, 2024 at Campsite #20
Fantastic campground we keep coming back to. What a gem. Only sad part was the host didnt enforce the quiet time, one of the campers had his generator running until 11:30pm when I had to get up and ask him to turn it off (which he did).

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
