Be aware that this site is listed as being a 180 driveway thats a pull thru. It is neither. It is a back in spot with a very sharp angle and the driveway is maybe 40 long. We had planned for a travel trailer with a truck and 1 extra vehicle. We had to smash into the spot and it was pretty stressful. The number post had the site #s scraped off many of them and ours had a chalk written number. The site next to ours was the 180 pull thru and it looks like the camp host claimed it as his own. Thats fine but the site info needed to be updated. The beach was stunning so we were able to spread out during the day at the beach.

Camp host was extremely rude. Otherwise the site is lovely. Just avoid interactions with this guy!

Campsites are nice Mosquitos are bad especially in morning and evening

This is a very nice park. Clean bathrooms and nice sites. Only drawback is the lake level is way down. Thought my site would be right on the beach, but had a good hike to the water. No problem for the young, but wife has mobility issues and only could walk to the water once.

You won't get cell service here but personally I enjoy that while camping. We have a roof top tent and it fit great in our spot. Beautiful views. Make sure to bring bug spray in bulk, lots of mosquitoes in mid june

Great spot, we will be back again and again!!

It is a beautiful campsite, with fewer people than other sites around the lake. It was a little cold on Memorial Day and had a little rain but overall great experience. Campsite are well spaced with lots of room between them. The toilets are clean and well looked after. There is a little town 20 minutes away that is good for picking up firewood or any extras you forget.

Grandkids had a ball at the expansive beach. Very clean bathrooms and great camp hosts.

Was very disappointed to see all the little pieces of garbage at multiple campsites. Even some garbage on beach. A couple years ago I dont recall seeing any garbage. Is the Forest Service not funding enough supervision. And way too many people running generators all day. It was not hot. Why would anyone need a gen. running for hours? Some were old & very loud. I think camp hosts should survey this and impose restrictions in excessive noise when it ruins your camp neighbors enjoyment of the outdoors. Also kids walking through peoples sites. Comeon people. Have a little camper courtesy.

Campground was great. Fellow campers were good about quiet times. Toilets were clean and maintained. Despite the lake at 11% full, did manage to enjoy some water time. However, it seems now would have been the time to repair the boat ramp at Spring Campground. Its in terrible shape. If you need to launch a boat, you need to travel to the Crescent Lake Campground low water boat ramp.

One of our favorite places to relax with family and friends. We camped this year in early July and mid-August. You'll battle the mosquitoes early in the season and smoke later in the season, so it's a trade-off. Camp hosts were sort of invisible this year -- some rogue generator usage; bathrooms not as well kept as in the past. However, we had a great time as usual during both visits.

Large sites and relatively quiet. Not too many mosquitos, surprisingly. Bathrooms were generally clean but smelled pretty strong from time to time.

garbage bins were all full of garbage and smelled bad

Camp was clean and quiet. The lake although really low was beautiful!

This was the first time we've been camping that someone had run their generator all night and all day long!! We've been camping for over 40 years and have never experienced this before. We were always under the impression that quiet time was from 10:00 P.M. until 7:00 A.M. apparently not here. A big part of camping is to have the quiet and be able to listen to the wildlife let alone the quietness of being able to sleep at night. Truely disappointed
@PatrickK884942 · Camped on Jun 9, 2023 at Campsite #9
great place to camp, spaces are not too close. The only complaint we had was that the garbage bins were too far apart.

Great site and attentive hosts. Would definitely return to this little mountain lake oasis.

This is my favorite place to go within a few hours of our home. The campground is clean and well kept and the lake is gorgeous! It is absolutely a family friendly campground and the guests all tend to be respectful of each other. Just can’t get enough of this place.

Due to plan change didn’t use our spot.
@CrystalC156474 · Camped on Jul 23, 2022 at Campsite #10
I am very thankful for camp hosts. They were very accommodating and even when I park in the wrong spot they helped me out. Super thankful. On a negative note Wish Oregon would take money given to camp grounds and actually fix and level camp sites like most states do.

Beautiful campground, great sites, super clean facilities and amazing hosts. Only down side was our site was next to the group campground. The site itself was perfect, but the group had barriers up and were rude to anyone who went into their area, even for water.
@sheenak4096547 · Camped on Jul 17, 2022 at Campsite #30
Rudest camp hosts we have ever encountered. Steer clear and don’t ask for anything if you can help it. The lake was beautiful, bathrooms were clean and our spot was perfect.

We stayed on a July Saturday night and campground was fairly full. Campground is well kept. Paved loops keep it quiet and prevent dust when vehicles drive through. Unfortunately had a loud group as a neighbor with lots of inappropriate language. Not much shade cover for many of the interior loop sites. Sites on the shore much better. I saw reports of low lake level of 21% but not too bad, just a longer stroll to water. But this end of lake has more gradual slope so still good for playing in the water and kayaking. Male Camp Host was VERY grumpy each interaction. His wife was pleasant.
@HilaryR6255236 · Camped on Jul 7, 2022 at Campsite #45
We loved this campground! Nice size sites. Trees are there but allow light in for good solar energy if you use that (we do). Camp hosts were pleasant. There were a decent amount of mosquitos but it was a late/cool spring so I think will be better in a week or two. 5-10 minute walk to the best parts of the beach from site 46. Lake was 'refreshing.' Nice trail access from the campground.
@LaurenM8658949 · Camped on Jul 2, 2022 at Campsite #39
The campground is wonderful and well maintained, but the camp hosts this year are intolerable. They were confrontational over everything. They also have lights strung around their spot that they leave on all night, every night, that are very bright. Another thing, the map of the campground on the website is inaccurate and our group ended up being split up. Spots 36/37 and 39 are not directly across from each other on one side of the bathroom like the map shows. 39 is on the other side of the bathroom, downhill from the other two spots.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
