The parking site was not level. It would be helpful if the description of the site would state how level or how sloped the parking area is.

The trails were maintained and wonderful to ride on. The campground was very pleasing and the hosts were not only cheerful and helpful but very kid friendly. I will be back!

It’s quite dusty campsite not at all recommended for tent camping

Camp hosts do an excellent job. Camp is neat and tidy. Vault toilets are cleaned and resupplied regularly. Hosts are responsive to camper needs.

Great location- clean sites & well maintained bathrooms Camp hosts are the greatest I have experienced. Easy walk to the lake and trails are cleared for the horses. Thanks

A really nice horse camp in a beautiful location, Whitefish never fails to impress. The sites are well maintained and potable water is plentiful. The best part of Whitefish though are the camp hosts, Jim and Jerry. They work very hard to make every camper's experience memorable. They are kind, helpful, and attentive. We felt very comfortable leaving our horses for the day to go for a drive down to Crater Lake because we knew they would keep an eye on everything.

The camp hosts were very nice and kept a clean camp. Disappointed that the trails were not cleared better.

First of all, the camp hosts are awesome. Jim & Jerry are so nice, their camp is decorated in flowers and they even have flower pots outside the bathrooms. Such a nice touch! And the bathrooms are extremely clean and well kept. For horses, the corals are solidly built and so safe compared to stick-built corals. Trails right out the door. Lake is within walking distance and is horse-friendly. Overall, always a great experience here.

Directional signs stating destination would be helpful. Bees were a problem all summer and fall on Windy Lakes trail near 6010 road. Water was turned off October 3rd even though it wasn’t freezing at night.

The camp was great and the camp host was nice. however shutting the water off without notice was a challenge to get our horses water. Also some trail maintenance is in order.

The trails are really nice to ride, the camp hosts are amazing I had a horse colic and they helped get a phone number for a vet to take her to and where the best stop to get cell service to call

Our camp spot was perfect. The camp hosts, Jim & Gerry were wonderful and very friendly. I will be back next year!!

Beautiful camp. Lots of shade trees, water spigot close to all sites and metal horse corrals. Most sites easy to back in larger trailers. Trails are great and not difficult for most horses.

Great place to camp with horses! Camp was clean, orderly and quiet. Camp hosts were caring and professional - the perfect combination.

Very good horse camp. Trails are pretty easy to navigate but better if you have Kim Mccarrel's book. Hint: make copies of Trails ahead of time to carry in saddle bag. Creek crossing near camp host site needs improvement. Most sites are pretty level and easy to back into. Two pit toilets, water at each site or 1 site away. 1 manure dump and garbage dumpster. Trails off the Win Met north of camp were not accessible due to downed trees (over 100) unless you hauled out. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Lots of PCT hikers in the campground and trails. I really like that the corrals here are newer pipe corrals instead of the older wood corrals with chain gates. Also, having water close to each site is great. Will definitely come back.

Jim and Jerry were absolutely fantastic hosts. We’ve had enough negative experiences with Jerry in the previous years that we almost didn’t come back this year. Since Crescent is our favorite lake & the trails riding is perfect, we gave it one more shot. Since we didn’t have to deal w/Jerry and only saw Jim—our stay was DELIGHTFUL!

This camp had potable water, bathrooms (with toilet paper!), horse corrals, picnic tables, fire pits, easy access to multiple trails and Crescent Lake, and even provided manure wheelbarrows and a collection pile for equine visitors. The sites are large enough to easily park a truck and horse trailer in. The camp hosts - Jim and Gerry and their little dog Charlie - were also AMAZING!

Excellent, well maintained horse camp. Very safe pipe corrals with gates, and water located near every site. Easy drive off main highway, and most of the sites can accommodate large trailers, though some are longer than others. Camp hosts were very friendly. Definitely recommend this location. Trails were well-marked, though ask camp hosts how long they are, and there are several different options if you want to ride a loop or just do a shorter "out and back". Crescent Lake is within walking distance of the camp, and we enjoyed just hanging out at the beach one day. Perfect for swimming, as it has a gradually sloping, sandy lake bottom. Bring kayaks if you have room!

This has become our favorite place to get away to. Both with our kids, and without! Our camp hosts could not be any better! They feel like family now. They keep the camp in such beautiful conditions and ensure we are happy and comfortable!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
