No showers though.Dump station with potable water.Pay station located at the entrance.Several restrooms scattered around the campground. Nearby are dishwashing sinks.Very small amphitheater for such a big campground.

Great campground conveniently located inside one of my favorite National Parks. Clean bathrooms, friendly workers, beautiful views. Try not to get a site on the side closest to the nearby hotel and youll be happier! But cant really go wrong.

I love Furnace Creek campground. Its a perfect location in the park and the spots are spacious. It was very hot this trip so that was t great - but not the parks fault! The staff at the check in kiosk - especially a dark haired younger woman - was pretty unfriendly and unhelpful. I understand that the staff are under a lot of pressure but it was the first time I have not found national park rangers to be friendly.

Great location from which to explore the park.

Our campsite had plenty of room and a decent amount of space from the adjacent sites

It is a very well located campground. Visitor center and ranger programs are also close by.

Great amenities, except it can get crowded and there's not many trash cans.

Great campground, had to shift between multiple sites as it was heavily booked, which was no problem. Every site had a vista of the mountains. Rangers were helpful, courtesy and great stewards of the park.

Campsite and restrooms were clean and maintained. Location is convinient to General Store and restaurants.

When I reserved the campsite, I informed them there would be 2 cars. However, my particular site only had room for one car. Hum? Seems there could be a better way to work that.Quiet hours are generally between 10pm-7am, however a large group was up until near 2am making lots of noise. Unfortunate to not have a camp host around to speak with them as they were disturbing all their neighbors.

Ubehebe Crater is well worth the drive from Furnace Creek. We also enjoyed biking the One Way 20-Mule Team Road except for the individual who apparently ignored the Do Not Enter sign posted at the roads Exit

Spots are a bit close together and pretty wide open, but great location and surroundings.

Camp ground was quiet and orderly. The stopped blowing. Unbelievable lack of blooms. The flooding and the increasing global temperatures maybe whats

The walk-in tent sites were as expected. Nice to have a bit of shade with the mesquite. Bathrooms with flush toilets a plus (and were decently clean).

We have stayed at Furnace Creek many times and it has always been exceptionally well run, clean, and pleasant. This years visit was no exception. The campground hosts were especially attentive and helpful.

Friendly & helpful check-in. The park was fully booked when we were there but the campgrounds were very quiet. Nice level paved pads that weren't too close together with each other.
@Stephanie22978 · Camped on Mar 13, 2025 at Campsite #71
The location is great, walking distance to the visitor center and central in the park. The sites were nice and some had trees but Id bring something for shade anyways. Bathrooms were clean. Be ready for wind and stake everything down and bring heavy duty stakes to get through the rocky ground.

Been coming to DVNP for quite a few years and mainly camping at the Furnace Creek CG. The CG is clean and quiet with the Hosts doing a good job in managing the visitors. Bathrooms a functional and clean every time I used them. To our surprise the park finally repair and returned to service the onsite dump station! Thank you DVNP... We had great weather as it only rained one day with a lot of wind though starting late in the day a continuing over night. Keep up the good work!

A very beautiful place,
@BrianD6953183 · Camped on Mar 13, 2025 at Campsite #141
Camped at one of the walk-to sites. I honestly thought they were further from the road, there really wasnt much of a walk. For the most part its possible to pitch a tent adjacent to the cottonwood trees, which is good for some shade and wind protection. Bigger tents will have less ability to do that though. Washing station and bathrooms are great. Be prepared for the campground to be LOUD at night. Between small spacing and nothing separating sites sound travels. We sure had a lot of inconsiderate neighbors not respecting quiet hours.

The camp hosts were easy to find and Rick was super helpful with offering information about the visitors center next door and making plans for the visit. I would definitely recommend this campsite for an easy laidback experience in nature.

Clean site. Well maintained.
@JeffM1730911 · Camped on Mar 10, 2025 at Campsite #150
The campground is very close to the visitor's center, golf course, gas station, lodge restaurants/bar, and general store. It's flat, open, and rocky and suited best for RVs rather than tents. However, Tent Site 010 has its own parking pad - as opposed to other tent only sites that are walk-in. The winds came up for a couple days and were the strongest I've ever experienced, and I advise not planning a tent camping trip if these high winds are forecast.
@CaitlinK160792 · Camped on Mar 4, 2025 at Campsite #28
Centrally located and very clean sites and bathrooms. Has flush toilets which seemed like a luxury compared to other campgrounds we stayed at prior! The sites are close together and dont allow for much privacy, but we spent most of our time out adventuring at the park so it didnt bother us. Would stay here again.
@MaryJ2608736 · Camped on Mar 3, 2025 at Campsite #63
We loved our time at Furnace Creek - truly a beautiful campground! Making reservations early is a must but choose your site carefully and pay attention to its size. All wheels - trailer and tow vehicle, must be able to fit on your site's pavement. Additional vehicles that do not fit on the campsite's pavement must be parked in overflow areas.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
