My husband and I came here with our 10 month daughter in late September to visit Yellowstone. We had a wonderful time. It felt secluded, even though you are 10 minutes outside of West Yellowstone. The campground hosts take very good care of the campground. The toilets were clean and the campground itself was very clean. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. If we come back to Yellowstone, we will definitely stay there again.

Great camp site. Very clean sites and bathrooms. Lodge pole pines all around. Host were friendly. We would definitely go back.

This campground was absolutely beautiful. One of the cleanest facilities I have ever stayed in. The views over the lake were breathtaking. Very close to the West entrance of Yellowstone Park. Easy to find. There were even some great people that were staying in the park with us. We will definitely be back.

Great campground in proximity to a lake and Yellowstone NP, were able to hear elk bugling in the evening and morning. Sites are level albeit with some wet spots after rain. Convenient placement of water taps.

Very nice campground, lots of room at the site and restrooms where clean. Only bad part was the 5 mile road to the campsite was very rough and dirt was all over.

This place is a real gem - not far from Yellowstone but relaxing and quiet

Good, attentive hosts. Beautiful, treed area with fairly private spots. I was a little disappointed with the lake/pond there as there were signs to not go in the water because it wasn't clean?? Also, we weren't aware that the only dump stations nearby (West Yellowstone) were pay only. Other than that, it was a great stay, and we loved listening to elk bugling in the night.

Very beautiful campsite, crossed the country with some friends from Tennessee to the campsite down the coast of California. This campsite was the peak of our journey!

We were impressed with the camping sites. There was plenty of room and privacy between sites. The hosts were super nice. One site we had reserved had electrical problems. The hosts got us another site with electricity the same morning. The lake is within easy walking distance. We will be back!

Campground was very clean. The lake nearby is a definite plus. Kids had a great time on kayaks and float tubes as well as digging in the sand. The lake was extremely mossy so I left it to the kids. The space between sites was really nice. No neighbors camping on top of each other. Definitely going again next year.

We loved this campground! The spaces were spread out and each one was clean and well just perfect! The wind in the pines was beautiful and we were thrilled to hear the elk calling in the morning!!

Convenient location to Yellowstone National Park, and good facilities. Definitely keep your camp clean and pay attention to all rules about food storage! Otherwise you are putting bears and humans at risk. Visit the Grizzly Wolf and Discovery Center to see a prime example of what happens when campers are careless with their food.

Our site was very roomy. Nice to have electrical hook-up in a Nat'l Forest campground. Close to Yellowstone. Easy walk to the lake. Vault toilets were kept clean.

Bathroom was very clean. Campsite clean and fairly private

Nice campsite. Each site was plenty big and included a huge bear box. Camp hosts were kind and personable. The road to the campsite is a long dirt road that is rather bumpy, and it was just graded, so the bumps may have been the result of the treads from the grader. The campsite is 20 minutes to the Yellowstone west entrance, then another 40 minutes to a major junction within the park. On a plus, cellular service is strong at rainbow.

The campground was nice and clean. I love how close it is to the lake. The sites are well shaded with trees and they are not too close to each other. I would stay there again.

We had B10, Nice, level, shaded and clean spot. More than enough room for the camper and vehicle. Big Plus - electric hook ups! It was pretty warm so being able to use air was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rainbow Beach campground. It is a very clean, nice and friendly campground. Because of the campground hosts Hillary and Ron, they were fantastic At making us feel welcome and shared, they're much knowledge and information about the area giving us More sources for our vacation camping trip.The restrooms were always clean and nice. It was a quiet campground, and it is so close to so many things to do.

Well maintained site and clean toilets.

The campground was very nice and well kept. The mosquitoes were awful. They were huge and most bug spray didnt work. They would also bite through your clothes. It was hard to enjoy being outside and swimming in the lake. It is also a ways down a dusty gravel road. I would stay again if the mosquitoes werent so bad.

Had to leave early due to too many mosquitoes

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
