Nice tree coverage for about the later part of the day. Small but decent spot for a small-medium tent. Great privacy from other campers. River access was so nice and amazing views of river and mountains when you walk down to the water. Would certainly book this site again.

The river side sites at Greek Creek are terrific. There is some traffic noise but if you position your camper/tent towards the river you hardly notice the traffic. Fishing the Gallatin right there at the camp site was great- lots of nice rainbows!

If you love to sleep 100 feet away from a busy road this is the place for you. I woke up every morning to what sounded like semi trucks passing right outside my tent. Its right off of the main road and incredibly loud. I would never camp here again and wouldnt recommend to anyone. Each site also has very little privacy which I didnt particularly enjoy.

Nice quiet campground.

Very, very, very limited campground facilities. A lot, a lot, a lot of noise due to proximity with highway.
@BrianaBE1F5C17 · Camped on Jun 1, 2024 at Campsite #9
Pros:-Easy to find-Beautiful trees-Somewhat private Cons:-Be aware it's next to/very close to the highway, you can see the cars passing by.-Some of the trees do look dead and like they are about to fall.-Confusing where the bathrooms are.

Conveniently located between Bozeman and Big Sky. Site #7 was excellent, with the tent area nicely located in the trees. Pit toilet was very clean. Friendly Park Host. It was all good!

Loved the location on the river. Camp host was so helpful in hooking us to water supply. Def would have stayed longer!

Very pretty sites, Carl maintains the grounds REALLY well and is super helpful. Hwy 191 cuts thru the middle of the CG and there is excessive road noise from 0600 thru until 1900 at least. Diesel Jake brakes, motorcycles revving, and noisy auto mufflers really are annoying.

This is the worst site ever! We did not stay because of many things including no way you could you sleep that close to a highway with thousands of cars going by your head at 60 mph, there was not a flat enough spot to even pop up a two person tent and the camp ground host never would answer the door so we left and had to find something else for the night. DO NOT RESERVE THIS SPOT!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Greek Creek Campground despite inclement weather every night June 25 through June 29, 2023. It was just one of those weather patterns. The Camp Host does and amazing job. The site is thoroughly cleaned multiple times a day. He was helpful the one time my neighbor site needed assistance. Connie, who has been involved for decades is a treasure. Be sure to meet her. The location is excellent. My primary purpose was to fly fish. The river was still quite turbid. The nighly rains didn't help. However, I did catch Rainbows right outside my campsite (13). I had to walk up and down (upriver delivering better results). The current was still fairly strong from runoff (and rains). If you are tenting, as I was, the low spot is between the fire ring and rock ring. Due to the size of my tent, I had to set up here. Because of the weather four evenings, I was out trenching water flow away from my tent. Keep this in mind. Maybe the campsite could build up the grade in this area by three (3) inches and the problem would be solved. The beauty of this site is stunning. Along 191 there are numerous turnouts to access the Gallatin. I spent more time toward Big Sky and down into Yellowstone. The water was clear for the most part there, but still moving very fast, so being alone, I was weary about trying to access areas on the other side of the river. Had I not been solo, for sure would have pushed access on the other side, especially closer to Greek Creek. Other than the raw beauty, and powerful nature experience, my two favorite experiences were the temporary, traveling neighbors I met, including Gary (camp host - damn, I hope I got that right, and his mom, Connie), and being able to drive less than an hour and access many fishing sites. Such a fun adventure.

Originally I was a little bit nervous about the highway being directly behind the campsite. But after the first night I honestly really didn't care about the highway. Traffic calmed down about 9:00 p.m. and the site is significantly lower than the highway level so the headlights pretty much went past you it should not be an issue if you are in a camper it may get annoying if you are a tent camper. But the sites were very clean the hosts were very kind bathrooms were very clean as well. Ventured to the other side of the highway to check out those camp sites that were closer to the water and those were just as beautiful as the other side of the highways that we were on. I would definitely come back to that campsite, only concerning thing is the amount of car accidents that occur on that road between the campground and town essentially. Definitely need to drive carefully but the campsite and everything was wonderful very spacious as well.

Very nice campground and beautiful scenery-extremely loud right by the road.

Great price. Beautiful location off of the river side. Traffic is very frequent and noisy, so if you’re not used to many vehicles (off the hi-way), you will not enjoy the spot as much. For us, it was a great location between Bozeman and West Yellowstone and we didn’t mind the traffic too much.

Very small but very clean sites. People are great and always checking bathrooms, garbage, and wood. Very clean bathrooms!!! Excellent shade and space. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our visit at Greek Creek. However, be advised, there is a LOT of traffic noise! From passenger cars to big semis, it was pretty much constant during the day. We stayed next to the river and it was very pretty though.
@Marcella233082 · Camped on Jul 5, 2022 at Campsite #8
Unfortunately, this campground was the only one alone 191 that had available spots during the time we stayed. The campsite was about 10 ft from the road, and 191 is pretty busy. It calmed down overnight but the big trucks picked up again around 5 am. Clean pit toilets and water available!

Great weekend away and the campground host was friendly and attentive

nicely maintained campground. I did not meet the camp hosts, but i saw their pride in keeping the campground in great shape. Only complaint is the busy highway noise. My problem only, the road was there before i camped. .

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
