This camp site is so peaceful, and comfortable. The hosts are very nice, quiet, and accommodating, they even let you use their wagon to help with the loads to the camp sites. The space is easy to share with a group, and you have water, bathrooms, and has a nice pavillion with a fire place, and picnic tables. We go annually, and always look forward to it!Lisa

GREAT CAMPSITE! The host (Roger) was awesome - he was available when we needed him but left us alone all at the same time. He was great with the kids too with his instruction on wildlife. Campground was perfect - our group site (1) was far enough away from the other sites so we really didn't even know other people where there. And there was plenty of space for our tents and a big ramada with picnic tables. The bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campsite. Definite plus! We are already planning our next trip back! There was no cell phone reception which we view as a positive - especially when you have teenagers in your group! :-) There was also a trail super close that you can hike on.

Wonderful site and camp host. Difficult access however when carrying supplies up hill with no path or stairs from parking lot. Pleased to discover Ramada with fireplace and two large tables as neither were seen or listed on the post.

The restrooms there were very clean. The other group campsites were far enough in between where you don't feel overly crowded.

Impeccably maintained - campsite and bathrooms were at a high standard!We had loved camping here. Our site had plenty of room for multiple families. Nice ramada, fire pit, big tent pad, our own water spigot, and tons of big trees.

Great experience! Fantastic hosts! Description needs updating - there is no electricity at sites! Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Fireplace under gazebo was a favorite! Will be coming back again.

It was our first time at Showers point, excellent campground hosts. They were very informative and helpful, and kept us well informed of changing fire precautions. Days before our reservation I received a pre arrival text message with the latest information. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Fireplace under ramada was a favorite! Will be coming back!

Another great experience at Showers Point. As always the caretaker Ken keeps the facility spotless. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. Ken sold us firewood and brought it to our site. I can't wait for our next visit.

The group #2 campsite was great. Loved the amenities. The reason for the lower rating was because we had to hike back to the site from the parking area. It was very inconvenient to carry all our gear back and forth. Also, there is a bear box, but needed at least 1 more since it is a group site. Again, we had to pack coolers and items that didn't fit in the bear box back and forth to our vehicles in the parking area for overnight storage.

Area is beautiful, though we did get rained on we made the best of the situation. My only complaint was the caretaker he came to our site and my husband began conversation with asking him how he enjoys his job and he stated well not fun “when I have to pick up after you BEANS” mind you yes we are Hispanics but I have never came across such ignorance and racism and especially having my kids hear that comment made. I really wanted to pack up all our stuff after what he said to us but I was not going to allow one ignorant uneducated individual ruin our family time. Even we are Hispanics let me tell you we are highly educated Hispanics and I am proud of my ethnicity thank you very much.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
