Quiet little area. Spot close enough to the bathroom without the smell. Beautiful, peaceful, and down to come back again!

Pit toilets were near overflowing and constantly running out of toilet paper. Dumpsters were also overflowing. No firewood for sale (empty). Dogs were off-leash. Music blaring. Very disappointing.

Great spot.

We drove in to find our campsite unmarked and occupied. We came with a group of Scouts and, sadly, had to make a family leave.

I've camped here once before and enjoyed it, at the exact same camp site number as well. I suppose we chose the wrong day/week/month to go because we had some extremely rude and loud neighbors who played music and were the loudest talkers/laughers all night, way past 10 that first night. It really took away the enjoyment of car camping here and we just decided to leave a day early. Needless to say, we were disappointed in this particular trip out. The consolation was stopping through Julian for some of Mom's pie.

The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had a great spot.

A nice campground and camping spot with plenty of space. However, on the 24th while I was away for a full day of hiking to Julian and back, someone entered my car, burglarized and cut my cloths. I called and reported this to the forest service, who said they will report to the police department. Other than this, it was a wonderful experience.

Great Stay at Mt. Laguna CampgroundWe had a fantastic time at Mt. Laguna Campground! The site was clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The staff was friendly, and the facilitiesrestrooms were clean, campsite tables and fire pits were in great condition.We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and nearby hiking trails. Sitting by the fire under the stars made for a perfect getaway.We had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

Location had a great view of the meadow and was very spacious. Only thing to note is the parking spot is a bit slanted

We always love camping at Mt. Laguna campground and got our favorite spot. It rained, hailed and snow dusting. Had to leave early.

Well kept sites and bathrooms, easy access to miles of trails, poor cell reception which I consider a bonus. Very well maintained and gorgeous! Cold in early Februaryso be prepared if camping in the winter.

Only issue was TP ran out and was never checked by staff

We really enjoyed our stay at the Laguna campgrounds. We stayed in site 19 which was perfect because it was far away from other campers and was a big campsite. The campsites were clean. The campgrounds were quiet. The trails were amazing! There are tons of short hikes that were great for our nine-year-old daughter. The only downside is the restrooms were pretty gross by the end of a holiday weekend. We would definitely come back here!

Great time of year for hiking. The campsite has everything you need and is very cozy. The campsite is also near the Mount Laguna General Store in case you run out of supplies or need something extra.

Two groups near us ran generators overnight. Camp hosts should have stopped that.

I don't think it was the fault of the facility, but when I made a reservation on the phone with Recreation.gov, I was told the campground had showers and was told they were coin-operated. I arrived on Thanksgiving with quarters and just enough time to take a shower before going to a family dinner. Unfortunately, the showers were closed for the season, and I was not able to shower after a 16-hour drive to make it to Thanksgiving dinner.There was also someone in my spot when I arrived, with a fire going as they prepared dinner. I don't know if the spot was double-booked, or if someone just squatted in my spot, but I didn't want to kick someone out on Thanksgiving. Otherwise, it seemed like a great campground! I would return there in the future, since as I mentioned, I don't think the issues I experienced were issues with the campground, but more with the national operators at Recreation.gov. The campground itself was kind enough to refund my money, and I really appreciate that. I loved the area, and it seemed like a nice campground. I would recommend it to others, with the caveat to take what the national Recreation.gov operators tell you about details like showers that they may not be updated about.

We had a wonderful time, beautiful location! Looking forward to coming back when the weather is a little warmer. The site was a little challenging for trailer due to angle and slope but perfect for tent camping.

Good spot. It snowed a little while there. The campsite was nice and bathrooms were clean and close

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
