Bathhouse is very outdated and in need of repair. Otherwise the campground is great.

Large level sites. Bathrooms flush toilets and a useable shower.

The camp host did a wonderful job of keeping bathroom clean and informing campers of any concerns we needed to be aware of

We love camping at Norway Beach campground and have been coming back for years. We especially enjoy the bike trails and the beach, even though there is swimmers itch. The bathrooms were very dirty and out of toilet paper. Attention needs to be paid to this area.For the first time, a bear visited our campsite and got into our coolers. Even a cooler that was bungied shut got tossed 20 yards into the woods. We highly recommend that people put all food including coolers in their cars.

The bathroom in the chippewa loop have been a total mess. Floors Never swept, floors not washed, sink ever cleaned, walls washed, or toilet paper filled! The host drove around on his riding lawn mower all times of the day and night! Monica and Bob Bovette did such a great job before this last host. The mens bathroom a wreck no toilet seat on one toilet floors so bad I wouldnt walk across with my shoes on! Great beech and camp ground the bathrooms such!

Great site, until we all ended up with swimmers itch the last day.

Beautiful campground. A lot of poison ivy, no dump station and no firewood but we loved it anyway. Will be back.

This was our first time here and what an experience! The sites are peaceful, very quiet and well kept. Watching the sunset on the beach was priceless! Highly recommend going here and we will be back next year!!!

The campground was great other than the bathrooms. They are in need of repair and cleaning.

Love the campground!!! Host was worthless. Only cleaned after repeated complaints to rangers. People in the campground actually had to clean the bathrooms.

Bathroom could have been cleaned a lot better. Went for days with out toilet paper

Important to note: there's no dump station and no where to fill your water tank even though there are water spigots, flush toilets and showers available. None of the water spigots are threaded. It's a great are and a nice wooded campground. Electricity at the sites and good cell reception. Star Island and Windigo lake on it are a special treat. As others have commented the bathrooms are super dirty.

The lake is beautiful (but busy) and the campsites are well-spaced and nicely kept. However, the bathroom/showers are not good. Dirty and need to be updated. Also never saw anyone at the camp host site the whole trip and there was a group of people partying (the three campsites near ours were together) until 2-3am every night we were there and no one enforced noise curfew.

We have been coming to Chippewa Loop for a few years now and it’s our favorite campground! Beautiful sites and and trails to the beach when there is plenty of room. The Lodge is great too, I didn’t catch the volunteers name who showed us around but he was great at telling us about the history of the campground along with the story behind the fireplace in the lodge. Would highly recommend!

The bathrooms and showers could be cleaned more frequently. There needs to be a dump station. The signage on the Migizi trail could be improved especially at key intersections.

The forest is always gorgeous.

We were there during the week and it wasn't crowded at all. We enjoyed our time at our site and going down to beach and walking a lot.

Beautiful spot minus all the POISON IVY! Beware if you are sensitive to this have pets and children who will not stay on the pad.

Bathrooms were dirty! Water in the shower was cold. Nothing fixed for days!

This is a good National Forest campground. It is a wooded area and the ground is covered with poison ivy. The gender specific bathrooms had warm water for the showers. While the bathrooms were stocked they were rarely cleaned. Each unit has electrical hook ups which was great for charging boat batteries and running my CPAP. Cass Lake is a few miles away and has all the supplies you’ll need.

UPDATE AND CLEAN THE BATHROOMS!!! The worst bathrooms in any park we have ever stayed At!! Dirty, spiders, floor was grimy and slippery. The campground is beautiful, but people need showering facilities that are up to date and clean. The beach was beautiful, and the area as well. Sad to see some of the loops closed and the Cass Lake one with gravel. Looked horrible as sites were not mowed.

Great place to stay. Awesome showers. The lake is beautiful. Biking the migizi trail was great but the signage isn't very good. 103 was a very private site but not totally level. Site 105 looks like the best but the campground is so nice any place is great!

Bathrooms really need an update. Dingy and gross
@VaughnS4594360 · Camped on Jul 29, 2022 at Campsite #85
Camping sites very close to lake; just a short walk away. Lots of sandy beach and shallow depths. Beautiful tall pines throughout the campsites. Volunteers at the visitor center very friendly and helpful. Plenty of camping loops and bike trail for bike riding. Norwood Beach Resort handy for firewood and ice purchases.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
