We were right near the river which was nice. It was quiet mid week, lots of hiking opportunities. There were cows that roamed through the campground which got my dogs barking which scared them off. We were in 45 that WAS NOT HANDICAPPED FRIENDLY. There were other sites that would have been better suited to handicapped campers. It was also close to several group sites that might have been noisy if they were ocupied.

I reserved a group site with a COVERED PAVILLION. I knew it might rain and we had people coming from SLC. Luckily it didn't rain because the cover to the pavillion was not there. Just poles. No roof. I remember years ago that the roof caved in but I thought for sure that they would have replaced it by now. And most definitely wouldn't advertise it and make me pay for it. But they didn't say a word, and they did charge me the full price. Ran into the camp host and he said they are just a third party and YOU won't pay them to fix it so they don't. Nice. Please do something about group site 51 at the Willow Flats Campground. This is one of our favorite places and this group site is closest to the trailhead to the spring, our favorite hike. I hate to see it left like this. There were also many bridges that had gotten washed out by the high water last year and it's just so sad. This USED to be one of the nicest campgrounds around. Not any more.....

My family had such a great time camping there for 4 nights for my sons birthday. They have great fishing and beautiful clean campsites. The camp host was awesome, Ed was super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We cant wait to come back

The camp host felt the need to stroll into our camping space on four occasions. I get needing to confirm things when we show up, but at some point, we should be able to enjoy our stay without constant interruptions. It was more than a little irritating. Id suggest looking elsewhere until they get a better handle on giving guests some space.

It was pretty frustrating to have the camp host wander into our camping area four separate times. I understand checking in when we first arrive, but after that, cant we just have some privacy? It really put a damper on our experience. Definitely wont be recommending this place as long as these hosts are in charge.

The camp host decided it was necessary to walk into our camping area four different times. I get itverifying info when we arrive is finebut when do we get to just relax in peace? It felt like we couldnt catch a break from being watched. I wouldnt recommend this place with the current management.

Extremely quiet, except for the amazing sound of nature. The cub river runs right through the camp grounds and there is an awesome trail to go hiking on.

The site is right next to the river. There wasnt much shade. The area around the picnic table and fire pit were washed out.

Very beautiful surroundings--lots of campsites. We would have liked to have had all of us together but didn't make reservations quickly enough.

Loved the location of the campsite. It was very easy to get our trailer backed in and the site is very level. Loved how close it was to restrooms and water. Camphost was very friendly and even suggested other campsites that would be great for a trailer. Down side of this site is there really wasn't room for a tent, and due to rain and a stream on the edge of the campsite, there was a large puddle when we first got to the site.

Our favorite annual family campsite for nearly 20 years now! The best little hike for all ages makes for extra added fun.

One of the main roads on the campground has been very badly washed out by the flooding and there was no warnings of required off road vehicles.

There is free roaming cattle in the campground leaving cow pies everywhere. If it were not for that the rating would be higher. The cattle should not be allowed in the camping area.

I really hope they get the Camp Host situation figured out. Willow Flat has such a good reputation for a great place to camp. However this year our camp hosts in loop B were not the most respectful to others. A few other problems we had were, we were told we cant go over to loop A and use the flushable bathrooms. We have been camping at Willow Flat for over 35 years and have never been told that. We pay to camp at Willow Flat. I thought that meant the whole campground, not just staying in our loop. The campers from loop A are welcome to go to loop B to hike up to the springs and use the bathrooms. I didnt know we had to be segregated. They also told, well yelled at my brother for speeding. He wasnt speeding. He was using his GPS and speedometer to make sure he was going 5 mph. Remember camp hosts can make or break a campground so I suggest you fix this problem because a lot of people were not happy.

The campground is beautiful, the weather was perfect. We had four tents spaced out and room for a couple more. The parking wasn't ideal, a great deal to do with the road being flooded (which is definitely not typical and something they couldn't control). We had two trailers and eight vehicles and were told a couple of times that our vehicles were in the way and had to be moved. I'm not sure what the parking would look like on a typical year, because there is a site across the road that would normally share the parking space as well, so I think it would still be tricky parking. But overall we loved the site and plan to be back again.

The campground hosts were really nice. When we got there the river was overflowing and it would have made it difficult to get to our campsite, we were able to move the first come area for the nights we were there. The area had a volleyball court, but no net to play, We did notice some strawberry plants near our campsite, so that would have been fun in the later months.

We love this place.

The place is a beautiful campground. Unfortunately, the ranchers are allowed to let their cows into the campground. This is miserable. You are dodging cow poop all over the place. Talked to campground host and was told the forest service won’t do anything about it. Something needs to be done to stop this. Ranchers should not be allowed to do this. Very upsetting and disturbing. Do something about it

Great location. Wonderful camp hosts. Will definitely be going there again.

Camp host was friendly. She made us and our sons and their wives feel welcome. The campground was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed hiking to the spring a couple of times. The only problem is the table in #52 is slanted and hard for people to sit on the west side of it.

The campsite was well laid out with a lot of spots for tents. The staff did a great job cleaning our toilets & keeping us supplied.

unknown to us camp spot 36 is a shared spot with 37. when we arrived another camper in 37 had taken up the whole parking area and there was no room for my trailer. The camp host was able to relocate us but the whole experience soured the trip. I also had to walk much farther to fish the river and at 63 years old it was troublesome. I will be canceling my other 2 reservations to camp spot 36 and maybe try again next year at another spot.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
