Great site with tall trees and consistent shade (which was awesome considering the high temps this year) with very clean facilities. The camp host was extremely kind and checked in after some storms. I WILL camp here again!

I reserved all 3 of the group sites for our family camping trip July 24-30. I reserved all 3 sites because Recreation .gov says that group site 14 will hold 5 trailers and 25 people, the same with 16. 15 is supposed to hold 10 trailers and 50 people. These are highly exaggerated estimates so I reserve all 3 so others don't come and be disappointed because there is not room for as many as they anticipate. I recommend that anyone anticipating reserving these group sites, visit the campground so you know what reality is. This year there was no potable water available and I was not notified of this until we were there and it was too late to change plans. I love the campground, especially group site 15, but it is expensive to reserve all 3 sites just to keep it a pleasant experience for our family without others coming in and overcrowding the area.

The visit was good, however, because of the water being unavailable due to a break in the main supply line, it was inconvenient.

It was absolutely beautiful area. The road getting there could use a little work. Other than that I had a good time

Very beautiful area to camp. Nice gravel parking. Water available if needed. Mild daytime temperatures, mid 80s. It got down to 39 on our last night which made for a great night sleep. We did have a major hailstorm one night but the next morning the grounds were not muddy and the riding was dust free. The only negative was the group campers were very disrespectful of the speed limit in the campground. All day for 2 days either atvs, utvs, or cars would go back and forth constantly way to fast. We had to very careful about taking our dogs for a walk because of the speeding vehicles. Once the disrespectful campers left it was a peaceful enjoyable experience.

We have stayed at this camp ground for several years and plan to come back. We typically use the group sites, #14, 15 & 16. I am very disappointed that the have discontinued to have dumpsters for our trash especially in the group site area. This is the only campground that we have stayed in that doesn't have trash dumpsters. We pay the same rate at others and they have dumpsters. Also in the ground site area the men's restroom was not available because it was FULL. I had to drive down to Georgetown and leave phone messages to the AuDi group that this needed to be cleaned out immediately. There as over 100 people using the group sites during this time. We were told that the camp hosts had requested it be cleaned out several times prior to our stay. This is not acceptable. I noticed another restroom down the road that was also getting full.

Campsite 003 was great! Lots of shade, close to the new restroom and water, across from the host who was quite and polite. Only one tent pad though, had to use the back part of the drive for our second tent. Sites 005 and 006 also looked great for our family of 6.

Beautiful area, the group sites don't clearly designate what parking area is for which site. This caused some confusion. Our site was in-between two bathrooms. One was nice, newer, well-cared for, but almost completely full to the brim. The second was dirty, stinky, old, and gross. Overall we had a great time.

Campground was great. Only thing that we didn’t enjoy was the kids doing laps around the campground on motor cycles. Very noisy and created slot of dust

It was very nice. However, the toilets were severally low. I have a bad knee and could not get up from it. They were terribly stinky. The handicap toilet was fine but had to drive to it.

We had some kids come into the campground racing their atv's. after the third time I had to chase them down and tell them to stop. They should not have even been riding in the campground. Also the people using the ground site kept driving fast in the campground as well and with the dry conditions it cause a lot of dust. I don't understand why people feel they have to rush through the campgrounds. We enjoys the Summit View campground!

This is easily one of the most beautiful campsites, but the bees/flies were horrid. The flies were huge and bite hard enough to draw blood. Bees are all over. Whenever we would cook they overwhelmed us. Bathrooms weren't great at all but for some reason the group sites have better bathrooms. It was frustrating that there are no dumpsters on site at all. Campsite host did not interact with us at all, for better or worse. We really loved the scenery- the trees and wildflowers were stunning. I was disappointed because there wasn't much to do right in the area- we trekked down to Bear Lake every day to find somewhere to stay. Oh and go the speed limit very carefully, because the cops will give you a ticket for going 5 over on the road in. Happened to 2 in our group.

Beautiful surroundings. Lots of ATV traffic on the nearby road. Sites were very clean and well maintained. Toilets were very clean.

This was our first time here and we will definitely return. Beautiful area that provides a nice break from the heat of summer. So many trails to explore! The camp host went above and beyond to welcome us and answer any questions we had. He even gave us a map of the trails in the area so we knew where we were at and where we wanted to go as we explored trails. We enjoyed trail rides, nature hikes, and just relaxing in our campsite. Overall one of our favorite camping trips!

There were bats flying around our camp during the day. They flew in our tent and into our sleeping bag. Had to get the camp host and also fish and game. Pretty scary for all of us. Wre told they were also in the group area. We were the only campers there at that time. Should have been given a discount or free cramping under the circumstances. Wre also told we could not shoot our bb guns.

The campground host was very,very rude. He would tell my kids what they could do and not do in the campground. He also would always drive by our camp spot every few minutes just to see what we were doing. The day we were leaving he came and informed us about checking out of our spot by 12:00. There was nobody else even in the campground. We have never had a host in Summit View until this year. Hopefully he won't be back next year or we won't be staying there again!!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
