Flat Rock Campground, Island Park, ID

Flat Rock Campground is located in the Ashton/Island Park Ranger District of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest (1 hr 23 min northeast of Idaho Falls, ID) with an elevation of 6,431 feet. There are a total of 17 campsites. The campground is normally open from the end of May to mid September. 16 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 45 and 65 feet. All sites are currently reservable. 6 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $20.00 to $52.00.

Good Campground. Only 3 sites were used and the whole rest of the campground was available. This was not normal.

We love this campground. The host is friendly and keeps the bathrooms nice and clean. She comes around to check on us. Ready access to Mack's Inn and the Big Spring area. 45 min from West Yellowstone.

Flat Rock campground is a very clean campground. The campground hosts are very nice and fun to talk with. The sites are are spacious with great fire pit and large tent pad. There was a place to park our 4-wheelers. Close to 4-wheeler trails and all the beauty of the area.

The camp hosts are great! Great location to Yellowstone, clean and nice campground and some of the cleanest vault toilets I’ve seen.

This was a great campground. Beautiful, clean, spacious, the works. The only drawback was the road noise. Otherwise, amazing experience!

Vaulted toilets were exceptionally clean. Hosts were very kind and took care of the sites very well. Extremely happy to have them there.

From the ease of check in, getting into the site and concrete pads, this has been one of the best RV sites we found on our journey. Having a BIG RIG (43' and tow) it was a pleasant trip.

We wanted to paddle the river with our canoes. The camp spots are very clean and accommodated our camper and canoe trailer perfectly. Wonderful experience.
