Camp site was very clean. Access to the warming hut was awesome. The outhouse was very clean. Close access atv trails. We enjoyed going up the road to Big Springs. The camp hosts were awesome.

If you’re a single person or 2 people camping, this is not the place for you. I imagined it was a group camping spot when I booked. It’s not. Full stop do not book this unless you’re an RV or coming with a large group. It’s 2 miles from the nearest major road, and out in the thick forest. My partner and I ended up dragging our tent into the “warming hut” and sleeping there. (Among the rats and raccoons, but safe from bears and coyotes which we could hear). Ultimately we tied the doors closed and had very little sleep. The next morning two men named Bob came to tear down the bathrooms while we were staying. I ultimately abandoned camp a day early and opted for a hotel south of Yellowstone. Speaking of, this is 22 mins outside of west entrance, but still over an hour to anything worth seeing. Adds 2 hours of drive time for every day you’re in the park. ** do not book ** No bathrooms, no water, no lighting, no people. Yikes.

Grrrr,🤨 it's a rip off!!! There's not a single soul there when we arrived on 7/13/21 and there were no signs to help us find our site. It looked liked an abandoned crime scene complete with a yellow police tape wrapped around the bathroom and office hut. We couldn't find our reserved site GSI so we decided to leave the area and look for another RV park. The website ad is misleading. I will never reserve this campsite again. I demand a refund!!!😰😰😰

When you are paying $308 for 3 nights and it says you have electricity you expect the box to be unlocked. It wasn’t! Never could get ahold of anyone to unlock it. Emailed recreation.gov when we got home they gave me a number for warming hut, warming hut number said recreation.gov would need to be the ones who give any type of refund, have now emailed recreation.gov again will see what they do! It takes forever to get any response, and good luck calling their phone number, was on hold 15 minutes, got disconnected, called again after a 45 minute wait gave up. Paying $308 for no electricity is crazy. No running water, which we knew ahead of time, but if you are paying more than $100 a night you should have the electricity which it states it has!!!

Thanks to all our Supporting Members

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
