Stickers throughout the campground, large holes in ground without marking. Showers did not have lights and men's restroom didn't have lights. Drinking fountains did not work. many electric boxes were faulty These issues were with the older part of the campground.

The campground was clean and there was plenty of space between sites. I was dissapointed that the showers and regular restrooms were all closed. They did have chemical restrooms available.

The grounds were dried up full of stickers. So the landscape was nothing to come and enjoy.

Very peaceful campground directly at the Success Lake. We used the campground for an overnight stay on our journey from Lodgepole Campground to Las Vegas for which it was perfectly suited.

We traveled from Utah to stay here for a vacation, we know the area from living in Tulare during the '80s-'90s.I was impressed with the campground system and the staff there.The Park Ranger driving around all day and night makes for a comfortable feeling.Large site with electric/water hookup for a very fair price.We met some friendly families and made friends.

Water level at the lake is not that low for this time of the year which still good if you like water sports like fishing, swimming and boating like myself

Site No. 054 good place with everything you need (electricity, water, sewage) and a beautiful view

Sometimes the grass is greener on the other side. Literally. Only part of the campground is watered, leaving the other campsites to be covered in dead grass and stickers. Not ideal. There is no official swimming area. Just an unpaved road down to a point where you can wade in. Camp host was unsympathetic and terse after I mentioned neighbors that were loud past midnight. On the bright side, campsites had water spigots and the bathrooms were in decent condition.

I spent 2 nights and 2 days at Camp Tule, Lake Success, camping with my sons ages 6 and 8. We had an amazing time. Overall, the staff, people at the gate and park rangers were very friendly and always around for a friendly conversation. We had camp site 76, right on the corner or the campgrounds nearest the Lake. Each camp site has shade but varies depending on the time of day. The first night we stayed the temp was 110 and stayed pretty warm all day and into the evening. the next day was a bit cooler at 95. The camp sites are walking distance from the lake, but a bit further to the shore were you can safely enter the water. The water was incredibly warm but had pockets of cool water, overall nice lake to spend some time in. Great views, amazing sunsets. When we were not at the campsite were were at the lake, walking the lake, or playing around the campsite. There are also two playgrounds that were a cool activity for the boys to do while I made meals. Showers and Bathrooms were OK, what you would expect. The views overall are amazing at this location. At night you can see SO MANY stars. We will be back for sure. Thank you for such a great location!

I stopped by the office and got information on the process to get a spot. I was able to make a reservation in the office due to not having any cell service. The space I rented had a great view of the lake and the sunset. Customer service was great.

Nice Campground, with access to the lake nearby. But almost no shade on the premises.

The campground and our site met all our needs. Temperatures were 100+ during our stay and the showers were great. The only negative experience came from what was seemingly a group of people living out of their car. Piles of clothing and equipment piled on the picnic table, clothing, towels, etc hanging on the car. Car left for a day and left all belongings behind. Returned the next day. Very odd, in our opinion.

Extremely polite and helpful. Smooth check- in. Great bang for your buck with showers and dump included in price. Senior pass is worth it!

There 14 day policy is really inconvenient

The sites were very close together with a lot of loud guests during my stay. Not much shade at each site but it was nice having a water spigot on site and the lake was really big.

Its a nice spot, will always come back here. Sure its busy on holiday weekends, but the local sheriff deputies and Fish and Game Warden are very friendly abs expect you to know and follow the rules of the lake and the law. Fishing can be challenging here with the tournaments and local pressure but usually catch a few. Camp ground is nice and spots are all fairly level with water accessible to most sites. Dump station on a Sunday can be hours if youre leaving right at checkout. Double/triple check the times the close the gate to the campground, long dinner in town got me stuck outside the gate for the night, not terrible just a little walk to your camp spot.
@RichardM509620 · Camped on May 22, 2024 at Campsite #95
The grass was really died and sticker all over. They ended up in our trailer making it difficult to walk in our trailer. Water was turned off for most of the day. The lake was full which made it nice
@WilliamS791593 · Camped on May 22, 2024 at Campsite #32
The facility was clean and well maintained. Sites are not level (but not steeply sloped). There's not much privacy between sites. If you're into boating this is a great campground.

We camped at Success Lake in Springville, CA site 76 right next to the water with a beautiful view. We had to clean up all the trash, cigarette butts, broken liquor bottles and liquor caps everywhere. Folks had used the perforated table for cooking on, what a mess. Could not set or do anything with that greasy mess. 3 Large trash cans parked right in the middle of the view of the lake. If you were sitting at the table in the camper you could use the wall in the corner of windows to block the cans and get a beautiful view! LOL

We go here avidly with our motor home and boat and totally enjoy our time. This is the place we love to take our grand kids as well.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
