beautiful views, easy to find, easy to navigate. Lots of sticks and kindling around for building fires

This campground was run by the Army Corps of Engineers. You would think it was squared away and above standard. It was far below. The restrooms and showers were closed due to needed repairs from flooding. Not sure when the flood happened but we were left with two womens port a potties and one mens. It said it was good for 10 people a week on the cleaning schedule. However the excrement was 2/3 full with another week to go. There were downed trees and debris everywhere and the water fountain was non functional. The vault toilets at Indian Cove campground were cleaner than these. It was so disgusting many of us in surrounding sites wanted to leave but it was too late. We got out of there first thing in the morning. The website misrepresented this campground greatly.

Reality nice place to camping

Bathroom not usable. Pit toilet out of toilet paper in the afternoon. Campsite impacted from last flooding. Not recommended for larger RVs.

Beautiful view, but bathrooms were closed. Porta-potties were sufficient.

Place was nice and quiet, it definitely needs some trees with that sun, also the restrooms still not working I imagine since the flooding but overall I enjoy my stay

Disaster! There were only three working showers for the entire campground, which was fully booked. The showers and toilets were extremely dirty and smelly. The facilities were disgusting and fell far below basic hygiene standards. It's hard to even consider this place a campground. It's a joke, not a campground. Stay away from this place!

The condition of the campsite was very disappointing. There were wood scraps everywhere, making the place look more like a junkyard rather than a pleasant camping spot. Most of the toilets and showers were out of order, which made the stay even more difficult. Under these conditions, I definitely wouldnt camp here again.

Very quiet and beautiful place. The restrooms are very clean

Super unlevel spots, showers closest to us were out of order, water spigots werent threaded so unable to attach a hose.

The ranger was very helpful in accomodating the changing lake level and ensuring that people could get their vehicles out safely.The toilets did not work and 2/3 porta a potties were locked. The one remaining toiled for a camp of over 50 people did not have toilet paper.It is a beautiful site and should remain open despite the changing lake levels.

MAKE SURE YOU GET THERE BEFORE 9!! Amazing camp ground just not actuate time on the closing of gates at night. Long story short on line it states gate closes at 10 but when i arrived at 10 the gate were closed with a sigh stating that it closes at 9. We had time constraints that made it so we had to come in that late but had to find somewhere else to stay. So over all camp ground was good just did not like the fact I had to pay for another camp site else were because of miss information of the campground. I would have planned differently if I knew it closed at 9 not 10. So if you are planing on staying here just be in before 9pm.

Great cellular reception at a quiet lake location. Be advised, two entrance doors to individual shower facility are missing locking mechanisms. Dump stations / water access at this price point is a huge bonus.

Big open spaces! Way bigger than the pictures show! Wow! The pull through sites are very very easy to get into we have a seventeen footer and a truck. The weather was nice in March. Book it!

The hike to the bathrooms was the longest I have had at any campground because the bathrooms near us were closed. The only bathrooms open right now are next to campsite 12. Otherwise it was good and had beautiful views. Somewhat difficult to find flat ground to put tents up on though. We tried fishing, but didn't catch any.

Sure would be nice if I could just drive to the camp, pay and stay. Some of my friends are old and would rather call a person to reserve a camp

Friendly ranger and clean bathrooms. Major clean up was underway to clear driftwood and debris. Excellent birding!

I just needed a small getaway from the city to recharge in nature and this was the perfect little spot. I think the only bummer is that it is right next to the highway so there was the sound of cars occasionally. I also didn't know the lake was completely dried up at these sites so you have to drive down a bit to get to Kaweah Lake. However, it was a cute spot, there weren't many other campers (which I liked because I wanted to feel alone haha), and the camp host was very friendly and helpful. Three Rivers is super close so that's a fun place to visit and Visalia is really close, which is where some of my family lives. There was wood all over the place so you don't have to worry about buying firewood. The bathrooms are a bit of a walk and one of them was out of service so it was even more of a walk for people on the other side of the campground, but I enjoyed the walks personally. There is also no hot water as far as I'm aware, so cold showers! The stars at night were beautiful. Spot #30 was mine and I absolutely loved it. It had a tree on it and I really wanted that haha

Wonderful quiet spot- perfect jumping off point to see Sequoia. The wonderful views and ample driftwood made for wonderful campfires. Caution for bigger rigs- it's NOT very easy to get level- most sites NOT flat. Seemed easier for smaller rigs.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
