Campsites and location can't be beat. Only problem is the other campers. Running generators all night, loud and aggressive drunk conversations, starting up F-350 diesel trucks all night long for some reason. All against campsite rules and general decency.

Beautiful campsite by the lake. Close together but sufficient vegetation to shield you and make it feel more private. Mosquitos were a big issue in the evening in the first week of July. Be prepared with netting as DEET won't be enough. Bear boxes were smaller than the one we later had at Gros Ventre. Also only pit toilets with toilet paper. Town of Pinedale is conveniently close and you can walk to the lodge down the way to rent a boat, go horsebackriding, or have a meal

In the trees! We liked being in shade and by the lovely lake.

We were not able to find the location. Signage was poor. The roads were very difficult to pass with a truck in the trailer. We had to make other arrangements for that evening

This campground is perfect for tents and vans but too small for large campers. It was wonderful not hearing generators all night. The hike to LIttle Half Moon was fun. Lake was wonderful to swim in. Campers were respectful and quiet making this place a gem to camp. Folks with large trailers can camp at Fremont Lake with the amenities they enjoy and desire, but not here!

Great little campground, no wifi which is just fine with us! And no hookups, pit toilets, also just fine. The frustrating thing is that people will reserve the best spots for 2 weeks and then only show up on the weekends...seems obvious it is locals that do this, using it as their 'summer camp'.We took a hike to what we thought was to Little Half Moon, but the trail is poorly marked after about a mile and a half. Nice hike, up and down, didn't make it all the way to the lake though.

The campground was clean and easily accessible. Super quiet at night, and a wonderful sunrise over the lake. Be ready for mosquitoes.

Lovely little campground with surprisingly private sites thanks to the great tree coverage and easy access to the lake for beautiful views. Close enough to Pinedale for anything you need, but far enough to feel away from town, too.My only advice is to try to make sure you arrive before dark because the road you take from the highway, while nicely paved, was in desperate need of having the lines repainted so it was stressful driving up after dark lol. Super easy in the daylight.

Too many people in a small campground. Overcrowded beach. Had to get up early justvto get avspot. Ran out of toilet paper every other day. One day we had to go to the rangers station in pinedale to get them up there.

It’s a beautiful location and the bathrooms were well maintained, but our campsite had a fire pit that was full of water and had a dead rodent inside. We ended up paying for another site the second night just so we could have a fire and get away from the “rodent soup”.

The drunk lady screaming half the night had to compete with the generator running all night. No camp host on site to address the problem. We had a four night reservation but packed up and left after the first night. Go for the first come first serve at Green River Lakes campground, it is worth driving the bad road.

Loved it - wish we had more time up there!

Great little camp ground! Spot was extremely private and had a short trail to the lake! Can’t wait to visit again.

Beautiful lake, clean bathrooms

Even though we got the last reservation online, the campground was almost completely empty. No one showed up to claim their reserved spots, which was very relaxing for us, but we could have had a better spot and/or people looking for a spot could have had one.

other campers ignored the quiet hours and ran generators until midnight. during the day the generators ran almost constantly . the restrooms were clean. trash service would be nice.

Your reservation system is ridiculous! You reserve sites 6 mos in advance to get a site, but when you show up most if not all of the reservable sites stand empty. Garbage is stashed everywhere, fire pits are broken, restrooms are consistently unstocked. Campsites designed for a camper or tent, will be overrun with both. Why stipulate the length of campers and number of people if there is absolutely no enforcement. Perhaps charging more per campsite along with a damage deposit would help curtail this reserve and never show system now in place. Perhaps enforcing the rules that are in place would be a starting point. Having used this campground consistently over the past 40 years, it is appalling to what it has become.

Beautiful lake and beach. Good privacy and quiet campsites. There was dog crap in the tent site.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
