I've stayed here before and had no problems. This year the cabin seems to have gone downhill the fridge was so dirty and smelt foul the cabin itself was dirty. Also there is a huge mice problem to the point you can hear them all night. I saw at least 7, there's mouse droppings all over kitchen so I did not use the kitchen.

Loved it here! The location is hard to beat. Only wished the wood stove had worked.

Facilities were great. This is a great location since it is close to a lot of different areas. It is close to the tribasin divide going into the head of the Greys River, close to Middle piney Lake, and close to the Labarge drainage. Also has and amazing view of Darby Mountain.

The road out has a few rough spots, but we have some experience driving rough roads and managed in Ford Transit 2WD. The cabin is well situated with great views of the Wyoming Range from the fire pit. Well-stocked kitchen and the mattresses were comfy. Woodstove works great! Would stay again no doubt. Great fall colors.

Great scenery with great cabin. The forest service staff at bridger teton were an asset to one of our party who had thought he had left a personal item at the cabin. The staff went above and beyond to assist in finding what turned out to be not lost at all. Thank you again for a memorable stay. I recommend this cabin wholeheartedly.

This cabin sits right on a road, so you'll have traffic going right through your camp all day. This could be greatly improved with a gate and force traffic to go around. Additionally cattle can graze right up to the cabin. It's time we take our public lands back from aggressive ranching practices. That said, it's a nice cabin and a beautiful valley. No water, so it's dusty but the stream nearby is a nice perk.

Excellent stay at Snyder Basin. USFS made sure we had plenty of wood. Hats off to the Big Piney Forest Rangers. Cabin was clean and comfy. Heater worked great. The Refrigerator wouldn't light up. Windows and bug screens needed upkeep. We mended a few of them as we could. Rangers stopped and checked on us which was nice.

We did not receive the correct information for the Snyder Cabin. When we arrived the cabin had not been cleaned by the previous guests and there was no mop or mop bucket or water available for us to properly clean the cabin. It was a somewhat satisfactory stay.

Don’t know why I have to have the signed contract if no one is there to check it. I suppose it’s for just in case there is a problem. Are the electric lights supposed to work? Didn’t need them just seemed like they would but they didn’t.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
