Spacious site with beautiful views. We have tent camped in the area for 18 years. Finally brought our camper up and was well worth the effort. Site was private with plenty of space for the kids and dogs to play. The beach was also easily accessible.

We stayed over 4th of July.It was nice and quiet. No cell serviceNo trashNo camp hostWater pump was broken. Bring your own water. Lots of snakes swimming in the water and along the shoreline. The reservoir had a funny smell to it. I had to wash our swim suits 3x to get rid of the smell.

Everything went great but there's some notes I'd like to leave just for the next person! There's a little Island you can paddle out too (we brought paddleboards) that has a man made fire pit, next time we go we might try and camp there and I highly recommend checking it out. Trailers were a bit of a tight squeeze and we had to reserve a second campground since we brought a tent trailer and an RV. I definitely don't recommend trying to fit more then one rv, tent trailer, camper, etc in one campground because there are rocks that block off where you can park them. The water spicket was turned off for the season but the handle was being brought in the week after we were there so bring extra water just in case, our camp host was awesome though and came and checked that we had enough drinking water because of this!The roads are washboard the whole way there if you come in through Lowman/Stanley, be ready, take an ibuprofen for your back and you're set! Loved it here can't wait to check out the other campsites.

Nice clean camping spot, and the restrooms were well maintained. Enjoyed it very much!

The spot was perfect for us. Secluded from the rest of the campground and had its only little beach.

Really nice campsite with restrooms close to the different site areas. The reservoir was quite low while we were there, which was a shame, but still lovely. The final 24 miles of the drive were on a gravel road, so be prepared for that. Camp host was friendly and helpful.

Not only did the description of the campground not include the 35+ miles of washboard like forest service roads I had to traverse to get to Deadwood Reservoir the lake level was so low the water was about 100 yds away from the campground...ended up turning around and going back home!

The drive up Scott Mountain Rd. (FS 555) was not as bad as others had mentioned. Although it is narrow and steep in some areas it was not bad. The campground was very well taken care of and campsites were spread out. I would recommend going earlier in the season because the water was very low which made the beach area very muddy and access to swim or enjoy the water was non existent.

Nice, shady spot. Lot's of mosquitoes, but not very buggy other than that. Just a short walk to several nice beaches. We really enjoyed our stay!

The bathroom was filthy and had no toilet paper, so I would plan on bringing some if you are tent camping.

It was not good! Our space was double booked. We decided to be kind and pack up and move because we wanted to avoid confrontation and there was not a camp host available to discuss the issue!

I really like this campground. It's a bit tough to get to, but very secluded. We did have a black bear visit both nights we were there (July, 2019), so I suggest coming prepared.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
