Would be nice if there is extra mantels for the gas lights

Cabin was clean and in good condition. We rented in years passed and would snowmobile into it also years ago. Wish the cabin was available in winter. Propane heater in living room was great once I figured out how to start it. Really hard getting this cabin rental but worth it.

Nice setting for this small cabin. Love the large ponderosas. Nice having drinking water available via the hand pump. The North Fork River trail is a beautiful hike but the trail is fairly eroded in places after about 2 miles. The river fishing isn't so great if you like catching fish larger than 8".

Quiet cabin, some folks drove by and wanted to use the restroom, we let them walk in and use it but informed them it was not a public restroom but for the occupants of the cabin. Really enjoyed the propane heat. The futon is on it's last legs and need to be replaced.

This is a great cabin tucked back off the road, next to some nice meadows and a beautiful backdrop complete with the North Fork trail to hike straight back from the cabin…one of my favorite cabins to stay at!

This is a great location and the fact that there is an amazing trail right behind it makes it even more special. There is plenty of room around the cabin for the kids to play in, so an awesome time was had by all. The only negatives - in spite of the sign asking people not to bother the renters, we had ATV after ATV come to the cabin to try to use the restroom. We ended up closing the gate and that seemed to stop the flood of people coming into our reserved site. The other negative - we found the place filthy - dog hair on the futon, dirt on the floor, bacon grease smell that didn't go away in spite of both doors staying open for a long time, bits of garbage in the yard, etc. It seems clear some people do not clean this place after using it, which is a shame, since it is a wonderful treasure.

We loved it here with the exception that the water pump was not working so we had to boil water the first evening after arriving and then drove to Atlanta to fill up the next day. We were however delivered potable water on the front porch on Friday (THANK YOU) which was a nice surprise; two days after arriving but better late than never. ;-) Great cabin in an amazing location with better than expected amenities.. BEWARE OF TICKS! We picked 19 off of us over the course of 2 hikes.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
