Beautiful corner of the world. The campsites are perfect for a woodsy family camping experience. The lake was great trout fishing. The hosts were fantastic and helpful. I loved this place and will try to return every year! Terrible washboard roads on the way up, really rattled the trailer.

Great site for a larger group with additional free overflow parking. Very shaded, right by the lake with lots of extra picnic tables and 3 fire pits, one of them is elevated for easy cooking. Close to vault toilet. Flies, bees and wasps were a nuisance, so definitely bring some traps. We had a great time.

Very family and kid friendly atmosphere. Linda is the best campground host, and she takes care of any obnoxious or loud people so that others can enjoy the outdoors. Additionally, the facilities are very clean and well maintained; really impressed. We came up multiple times last season, it never disappoints. The lake is great for kids, really enjoyed each visit, thanks

Been coming to Antelope for the last 21 years. A very peaceful lake and campground. Bathrooms are clean and campsites are shady with lots of trees. Great lake for kayaking and paddle boards.

The tent pad fit out 10x14. We had a utility trailer as well the fit. Fairly close to the road.

Beautiful lake for fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Well maintained campground with clean restrooms and easy access to the lake. Great job Boise NF! Thank you, I will be back.

The views were amazing. The weather was really nice, warm but not hot. I wish there were more toilets, we had a bit of a walk to get to one. Overall, a wonderful place to be!

This is the most beautiful and peaceful campgrounds with lots of opportunities for hiking, kayaking, and exploring! The camp host is also very kind and helpful should you have any questions.

The drive in was 18-20 miles of washboard gravel road. Pulling a trailer this was not optimal. Site 20 is not level anywhere. We had to use tree rounds that were about 12 inches to level our trailer out. I couldn't see in camp a level spot for a tent either. The campground in itself is beautiful just not sure this site should be camped in. Maybe a picnic spot? Hiking and kayaking on the lake was great. If we ever go back we'll pick a different site.

Absolutely love this place! So many trees, tons of shade, great views and just relaxing. Lots of trails to walk, ride dirt bikes, fishing, rafts in the water, kayaks --- Just a great place to camp with the family.

The road was absolutely terrible. So much damage was done to our trailer from both wash board dirt roads that we will never return to this camp grounds. We have camped at other Idaho federal campgrounds in Idaho and Oregon never have we experienced such a terrible experience. I gave you two stars but it should have been 1 star. We where there for Labor Day and you would think it would be full but it was more then half empty.

One of my favorite places to camp, by far.
@GregR8740343 · Camped on Aug 8, 2022 at Campsite #16
Beautiful area, lots of shade. The lake was low but that’s to be expected that late in the year.
@EricB5484998 · Camped on Jul 31, 2022 at Campsite #12
Dirt roads to get to the campground and reservoir are a little bumpy/ difficulty for a large trailer. But totally worth it. Beautiful, picturesque landscapes. Clean, well kept, and quiet campground.

Sagehen is a majestic beautiful escape from the city, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. We will definitely return. Camp host was very helpful and friendly. Camp sites were clean. All sites had beautiful trees and plenty of shade. Vault toilets were as clean as you could expect. Lake was a welcomed treat in the heat of the day. I would recommend that you bring water toys, rafts, paddle boards, etc. REMINDER you must haul out your own trash

Fun reservoir to play in. Nice cool weather compared to Boise. Lots of wash boards on the road. Leeches on the south end. No cell service/ AT&T and Verizon even with booster pack.

One of our favorite late spring, early summer camping spots.
@JakeM8266146 · Camped on Jun 19, 2022 at Campsite #8
Beautiful campground. We hiked along the whole lake, taking pictures and flying my drone. Took about 3 1/2 hours. We got rained on and hailed on but it was a great experience. Sleeping in 30 degree weather sucked though.
@travisa693 · Camped on Aug 20, 2021 at Campsite #16
Our campsite was very good. However getting in and out of the reservoir was a pain as you had to wade through tons of mud and leeches to get our kayaks into the water.
@JennC410 · Camped on Aug 13, 2021 at Campsite #19
The grounds were really well kept as well as the trails, the bathrooms were almost spotless. The grounds host toured often to make sure everything was ok. The campground itself was wonderful. I do wish people observed the noise hours, and also wish there was a section for people who didn’t want to hear generators all day and night.
@LeonardA684 · Camped on Aug 1, 2021 at Campsite #18
Loved it here. The scenery was great and the lake water was beautiful and calm enough to take our paddleboards out onto. The only negative is no trash service so you have to find some way to hide all your trash in bear country until you leave.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
