Never saw camp hosts.

Site was not a great tent camping site and sites were relatively close together compared to other campsites. Better for camper camping. Bathrooms were very clean though.

Great campsite (#7) conveniently located near toilet and bear box. Loved proximity to North Tongue, Tie Flume, and Sibley Lake. Saw moose, elk, mule deer, Sandhill cranes and Great Horned owls. Camp hosts very friendly.

The hosts are great people, been there for several years. The bathrooms are always some of the cleanest around. Very nice campground.

Never saw the host. Bathrooms very clean. Its our favorite spot if we get there early enough in the year to miss the open pasture cattle grazing!! Cows mooing at 6 am not that restful.

A beautiful campground next to a trout stream. The camp hosts were wonderful and helped us with anything we needed. We had an errant bear wandering around for a night or two, so we got to see game wardens, national forest people, etc. Alas, we never saw the bear. I love this place.

We have stayed here many years. Lennie the camp host keeps a very clean camp! Restrooms are always clean and she kept us informed every day what was going on. There was a bear in camp and she made sure all of the campers kept a clean camp and had coolersxand food put away. A central location to trails, bear lodge, and for wildlife viewing. We were fortunate to see plenty of moose and elk.

The campsites were smaller than expected, but the overall scene was still nice. This is a primitive campground as expected, and the vault toilets were clean and well stocked. As a base camp to other trails and sites in the area it was excellent. My only real complaint is the proximity to the access road FSR 15 which is directly adjacent to the campground. There was a LOT of traffic on the road beginning in the early morning (UTV/ATF/Trucks) which detracted from the solitude one might hope for from a NF CG. We previously stayed at the Boulder Park CG in the south end of the Bighorn range, and the sites there were much larger and more quiet. The hosts at the CG were very nice, and the access road was OK.

I've been visiting this campground for several years now. The camp host is very helpful and attentive to taking care of the grounds and making sure campers have everything they need.

We had the campsite next to the host which looked like a junkyard. Maybe they need all the tires and pallets and assorted stuff, but That was our view. Other sites looked much nicer. It is, like all the surrounding area a base camp for atvs and motorcycles. Adding to the stream of vehicle traffic are stock trailers rattling over nearby cattle grates often enough to make me miss the quiet of a ciTy. We had two nights reserved but left after one.

Campsite was great and clean. Camp render was wonderful and very helpful! There were Moose all over the are and three that came right into our campsite. There is many fishing areas but the water was very high so it was hard to catch any. Recommend It highly!

We were fortunate to get oneof the upper sites with a small tributary to the North Tongue running right behind it. Very pleasant spot. Super friendly campground hostess who put triangle folds on the TP rolls each morning - just like the Ritz Carlton only without the flush. Beautiful expansive landscape just west of this campground and the walk to the Medicine Wheel is worth it just for the views of it. Some great fishing nearby also. Only complaint came from my wife who did not appreciate the speed at which Forest Service workers drove the road just outside the campground to get to and from the work center. They raised clouds of dust making walking out there impossible.

Campground was very clean, orderly, and nicely set along a good sized, fishable creek. The camp hosts visited within a short time, and briefed me about anything important. The toilets were spotless, and even included a motion-sensing light to stay oriented at night. There is plenty of room between sites. Two of the 12 sites are FF. This campground is standard, non-electric with clean, cold water from two hand pumps. The sites are generally level, but not absolutely flat. There is plenty of shade, and on dry days, there may be some dust from the FS road leading to the campground. Good firewood is available for $6/bundle, as well as maps, at the camp host site (first site on left). This is a nice, pleasant campground that I will be staying in again.

We really enjoy this campground and it's location. It's off the hiway but not to far. We had a cow moose and her calf came thru our camp and crossed the fence. Also, down the road was a bull moose and a cow. Fishing usually is good, but this year was unusually hot and dry. It stresses the fish.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
