Great camp host, beautiful setting. Pit toilets cleaned regularly, water close to campsites. Watched Elk in the park at sunrise. Plenty of shade. Perfect weather in July.

The host is friendly, courteous, sticks to the rules and goes out of the way to be very HELPFUL! Scenery is beautiful.

As far as state parks go, sitting bull campsite was super nice. Seeing a juvenile bull moose in the meadow was a bonus.

This trip was much colder than anticipated but we survived. The four wheelers have ruined this campground. There is no peace and quiet anymore. The owners start those things up (so loud), let them idle then take off. In the evening it seemed owners were joy riding around and around the campground. We are very disappointed. We probably won't go there again.

We stayed at Sitting Bull because we wanted to do some trout fishing. The Reservoir is just across the road. We rated the stay as a 5 (five) because of the super clean restrooms; friendly staff; and great overall experience. Each day we saw moose in the area. Though the campground was full, the camping sites are far enough apart that we didn't hear any excessive noise. Great place to stay

This is our fourth stay here, each at a different site. We always have a nice stay and enjoy the scenery.

This is the best campground with easy access from the highway and great facilities. All sites are spacious and we appreciate the graveled pads and picnic tables, Fishing, hiking, and kayaking are close.

One of our favorite places. Unfortunately we only stayed one night because we were on our way to Grand Teton National Park. But we still love Sitting Bull.

Great campground. Marty is an outstanding host! Our stay in the Big Horn Mtns and Sitting Bull campground was the highlight of our adventure. Clean, well kept property, and of course the host make Sitting Bull Campground AWESOME!

Brilliant experience. We have visited Sitting Bull many times before and can say that this was our favourite stay. The camp hosts (Crystal and Marty) were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The bathrooms were the cleanest we have experienced ever at the site.

Neighbor came over to let us know all weekend their generator will be run during the night. Was told he had to tell us per camp host which we appreciated the heads up.Not a huge deal but then his family member ran their other generator at high idle for 5 hours in the morning. Great place to camp but not when you run risk of campers with generators like that. Never saw the host. We had car issues and had to pack out our area during the night and came back next morning to see camp host disregarded our reservations and had it available for open. Would just pitch a tent somewhere and not pay next time.

Campground host, Crystal, was very helpful in securing a better site for our length of trailer when we were scheduled to move to another site. Very pleasant and made sure our stay at her campground was an enjoyable one.

We have camped here off and on since the 70's. Always a good experience until this time. The neighboring camper had a open frame generator that they started it the morning on the road. The camp host had them move it so the put it between our campsites. That afternoon the started it and ran it until 9PM. We could not even carry on a conversation at our campsite until after the generator was shut off. The next morning they started the generator up at 8am. I talked to the camp host and they let us move to another site. They said they would leave the site we were in vacant so no one else would have to deal with the generator. We could still hear the generator but it was three sites distant. We went for a five mile hike and when we returned at 4pm the generator was still running. The other campers nearby thought the campers with the loud generator were gone for the day as no one had seen them around, I went to their camper thinking I would just shut the generator off. I knocked on their door and they were inside. They had been in their camper all day running their generator so they could watch tv and run their electric cooker. I asked them politely to turn their generator off because it was disturbing the other campers. Of course they didn't like it, but after a little heated discussion they shut it down. My point to them was they should be outside, enjoying what Wyoming has to offer. Myself and other campers think the controlled campgrounds should have a maximum decibel on generators. We are not the first to have issues with loud generators, There are manufacturers with quiet generator models. Campers should not be put in the position of having to confront others just to enjoy their camping experience. The camp hosts we very helpful but said they had no power to confront campers with noisy excessively loud generators although they would like to have. I will continue to camp at these campgrounds but I will not let someone ruin my family's experience.

Great campground with lots of mature trees. The sites feel very secluded thanks to the trees. There are paths between the sites that lead to the restrooms. While we had a wet and stormy weekend, it was the only trip this year where we didn't feel the need to break down camp due to high winds. The trees helped block a majority of the winds that came with the storms. Be warned that it does get cold, even in August. We hit the upper 30s and low 40s at night. We even had snowfall on the mountain tops overnight. Pack accordingly!Take time to explore Ten Sleep, WY! Such a great little town with some sweet spots and super friendly people. We stopped at The Sleepy Coyote for some great sandwiches (yes, they have gluten-free buns) to take over to Ten Sleep Brewing for an impromptu picnic. Great beers, nice outdoor tables with sun shades, corn hole and various board/card games. We will definitely be exploring Ten Sleep, WY again!There are a lot of off road trails easily accessible in the area. This was a popular site for toy haulers and ATVs/ORVs, which were traveling in and out of the campground on a regular basis. There were also A LOT of generators during our stay. However, everyone seemed to respect the quiet hours and had them turned off by 8pm (a few early risers had them fired up a bit soon, though). Plenty of camp fires going until late into the evening, but nobody was being loud or disruptive after 10pm.Absolutely no cell phone coverage (we have AT&T and T-Mobile), so plan on being disconnected while you are here (not a bad thing). Bathrooms are stall toilets with no plumbing. There are water spigots througout the campground. The camp hosts were fantastic. They roamed the campground with regularity and their constant visibility was probably a big reason that the noise ordinances were followed by everyone. They were very friendly and talkitive, getting to know everyone that was at the sites. Definitely would recommend this campground.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
