Beautiful campground and quiet. There is no cell service so keep that in mind when looking to book.

Check in time is 2:00 and a man fishing somewhere at yellow pins creek was in our spot and we could not park until he came back and moved his vechicle 2 hours later...he should have received a ticket.. clearly the signs showed us there and remember we prepaid for this spot.

First time at Yellowpine and it is exactly what I was hoping for! Beautiful scenery full of quakies, pine trees and a nice river flowing. I will definitely revisit

I've been a regular since the mid 80s. Usually the stay at Yellowpine Campground is quiet and peaceful. However, there seems to be an increase in campers who bring gigantic 4-wheel ATVs. These things are noisy and unsightly. They parade around the campground before setting off for the out-of-campground off road trails. I'm afraid that this quiet little area will soon be the launch site of many more noisy ATVs.

Beautiful campground, lots of shade or sun. The sites are nice and spaced just right, Restrooms are kept very clean. The creek is a added bonus.

We decided to go when it rained cats and dogs, but we still had a WONDERFUL time. It’s absolutely beautiful and we can’t wait to go back!

We love Yellowpine! It's quiet and remote with zero cellular service, so we're able to fully disconnect and enjoy the beautiful location. We enjoy hiking, kayaking, hanging out at Upper Stillwater, exploring the local area, lounging in our hammocks and riding bikes/scooters around the campground. I appreciate there are flushing toilets and the campground hosts do a great job. The campground is well maintained, we've have many a wildlife visitor, made tons of great memories and look forward to our yearly trip to Yellowpine!! A family favorite for sure!

One of the best campgrounds I’ve been to in years. Very quiet and so many trees makes it a wonderful place.

Camp hosts were great and offered help for anything we needed. Campground was in great shape. Only complaint would be the herb of cows always bumbling through

A fantastic campground. Very well maintained, the trees are large and plentiful providing lots of shade. The river and surrounding area is like paradise.

This is an amazing campground, especially the group sites were right by the creek. The only down side is people walk through your site ... and kids bike through your site ...

I would actually rate our stay 4.5 stars if I could. Beautiful campground, would stay again! POSITIVES: -Nearby creek & nature trail were awesome. Lots of places for kids to explore, but not go too far. -Camp spaces aren't too close together. -Bathrooms were clean and well-maintained (other than not always having soap). Two thumbs up for flushing toilets!! -Camp hosts were very attentive, but not intrusive. -A LOT of wildlife in the campground: we saw several deer, lots of chipmunks & squirrels, a few mice (yes), lots of interesting birds, & beautiful butterflies. Not a lot of mosquitoes- my husband & kids are usually magnets for those suckers. They each came home with only 1 bite & I got none. -Plenty of water taps; you don't have to go far for water. -Pretty quiet (except for nature sounds- squirrels were a little chattery). There was one rowdy group at a double site up the road, but luckily we were far enough away that it was only an issue when we were up near the bathroom. NEGATIVES: -Although there are a lot of trees, most of the sites have very little shade during the middle of the day, especially where the picnic tables are. Our tent was shaded in the morning until about 10:00 AM, but the table started getting sun around 9:00, and it heated up fast. The sun didn't go behind the trees until about 6:30 or 7:00 PM. Fortunately we had a pop-up shade canopy that made a huge difference. I highly recommend bringing some kind of shade device with you. It was pretty hot during the day (mid-80s) and it was pretty chilly/cold during the night (upper-40s I would guess). - There are 2 bathrooms for the entire campground; one at the bottom (near sites 1 and 2) & one at the top (near sites 11 & 12). A decent trek if you're in the middle. - Only other negative was with the squirrels/chipmunks hunting for food. Make sure any food is well contained, because they will chew through boxes & plastic bags to get your grub. They gnawed on a banana, some grapes, & several cookies.

Booked the wrong camp. There is a "Yellow Pine" campground ~50 miles from from the "Yellowpine" campground. This should be noted on the reservations page.
@WendellB360 · Camped on Jul 6, 2020 at Campsite #14
Beautiful Campground. The real problem is that the perimeter fence is broken and cattle is in the campground. This leaves lots of cow pies you have to be careful of and also the cows are bawling all hours right outside the campsites.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
