One of our go to parks. Nice sites. Need to know the dump station is at the entrance and is not blue tot friendly and is pretty far from campsites . We camped in November and the ants took over the camper in a couple of days. Ants was a problem with everyone we talked to so be ready with the ant bait.

Park was nice and quiet. Some sites share water so make sure you bring extra water hose.

We stayed the weekend before Halloween and the weather was perfect. The campground was quiet and only had two sites booked at the end (towards the boat ramp). The shower house/bathrooms were clean. Even the kids were sad when it was time to leave.

We stayed in site 35 which was a pull thru for our 34 A-class motorhome pulling a Jeep. It had a permanent shelter that covered a very large picnic table. Three other couples joined us in sites 34-32 next to ours in their campers. Three of the couples including us had dogs. These sites are not very handy to walking areas for our dogs. The sites overlook the lake which is nice but getting down to the level area next to the water isnt easy. There are stairs next to site 32 but after the end of the stairs the slope is still steep for us older folks. The road going away from site 35 to walk your dog to a grassy area isnt handy either but better than the stairs by site 32. If you dont have pets then the sites were great. EXCEPT for the awful sugar ants!!!!!So be prepared! We all had to combat these awful pests! And because of that we probably will rethink coming back. I know that sounds trivial but after a week of fighting them you cant wait to leave! And the weather was warmer than usual and the leaves werent as pretty as in the past, but hard to control Mother Nature. Overall we had a good time with our friends.

Location, scenery is great. The ants! Its a good thing they dont often bite. We had too many in the camper. WIFI cell service, the lack of, handicapped us from planning our next stay. I know this is common, no service, but come on. We not in the 80s anymore

The camp hosts were excellent. My kitty had been sick delaying us & the first thing they did was ask about her. That really meant a lot! They really care!!

Enjoyed our stay at this Park. Fairly close to town for needs of re-suppling. Quiet and peaceful. Everyone very friendly which always adds to the park.

One of the best campsites I have been to in a while. Clean campsite, right next to the lake. Quiet venue, with clean, warm showers. Will defiantly be coming here again.

Beautiful campground! We stayed at site 31, which has a covered picnic table. It was raining, so this made our meals much more comfortable. Beautiful view. Very clean and well appointed, spacious bathroom/shower. We are traveling in a 20 van, so no need for a tent site. The space was level and our van door opened right next to the table. Driving north from Texas, GPS guided us to a washed out road before we figured out how to approach from the north. Wed love to stay here again.

Great spot on the lake. Cell booster for vzw/at&t recommended, but not required.

The fire pit was full to the top. The shower in one mens bathroom has had no knob on it since last year.

Great campground, great site, at the time we went there was only one other camper there. There are some very nice hike and bike trails that run along the ridge parallel to the camp loop road, Ridge Park road. I was able to get cell service on the East end of the trail, there is a vista point with a nice bench swing, beautiful place. Will definitely return to this campground. Doesn't get much better than this.... One piece of advise.... the GPS tried to take me down Cane Creek road to make the connection with Waldon road. Cane Creek road is very rough and there was an impassible creek crossing at Cane Creek. Had to back my trailer up the hill to turn around and take another route. I was coming from Oklahoma, East on US Hwy 70 and turned North onto State Line road... if you go this way, stay on State Line road until you get to Pine Ridge road (226), there is a bridge that crosses Cane Creek if you go this way.

We were in #49. First time, but now one if our favorites. The view is great, and pretty good shade. Already have reserved again.

Accommodations and view were great. Only issue was the ants. They got into everything despite insect spray and other attempts to create a barrier for them.
@CodyH6682234 · Camped on Jul 2, 2023 at Campsite #54
The grass was very tall everywhere and picnic table at spot 54 were I was camped was dry rotten so could not use and could cut kids .

Campsite 35 is a pull through, very easy to set up with a longer camper. Quite and peaceful afternoons and evenings. Really a great place.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
