Great campground!! Was within hiking distance to the Bathhouse area of Hot Springs. Nice sites. Leveling was a bit of a challenge.

Nice campground off the beaten path but still close to town.

This was an interesting COE campground. We arrived mid-afternoon to check in and no one was there to check us in. Ever. Not once during our 4 day stay. It was a clean campground but the camping spaces were a bit tight. It took some manuevering to get our mid-sized 5th wheel parked. For the most part it was a positive experience, good neighbors. But there were some who ignored the burn ban in effect that was posted in several places. If anything like a fire would have occured it would have gone through that valley in a flash. Too bad some people are better than others and don't feel they need to follow the rules. Would I stay here again? Maybe.

Very nice campsite. The wastewater pipe at this site no longer had threads so the "donut" would not seal properly. The information on the campground needs to be updated. Some of it states that there is not a shower but there actually is one.

This is a compact campground with camping neighbors closer than typical in a national park. All of the hookups worked great, it was quiet through the night. It is a quick drive to the Hot Springs attractions.

Due to reduced staffing, we were unable to determine exactly which campsite we were supposed to be at the first night. Thankfully we choose the correct site. We were able to contact Recreation.gov the next day to verify which site was for one day and which was for the remaining four days.

Great campground, nice sites. Perfect access to hiking trails. Be careful in the campsites, the parking pads all have drop offs at the edges to the ground of about 2 or 3 inches. A very dangerous trip hazard!

as described. Clean and working everything. Friendly hosts and convenient location.

Gulpha Gorge is a great campsite for RVers that want to visit Hot Springs. Great walking trails nearby and easy to hike all the way into town. Great stream that flows right by the campground. New shower house recently added. Must do everything on-line. We never saw a ranger in the park and no one came and checked on our site while we were there.

The campground is small and intimate - about 40ish sites. We were lucky to have one that backed up to the creek and it was a beautiful way to spend a few days. Several hiking trails originate in the campground making this particular National Park and its campground a "one-stop shop."

We had this site reserved for several months in advance for my children's spring break. Unfortunately, a pop-up camper took our spot, headed to town and never came back despite our reservation with name being on there. Never saw a Ranger and never saw the people squatting there so had to pack up and go to a hotel.

The campground was great! I was in Site 4. It was close to the road with minimal noise. The restrooms and showers were well maintained. Bathhouse Row, stores, shops and restaurants were all a short drive with ample parking. I will definitely be back.

Easily one of our favorite campgrounds close to home. Great location just far enough out of town to not hear the bustle, but close enough it only takes minutes to get downtown to bathhouse row. And every hiking trail around mountain tower is accessible from the campground trailhead.

Great place to stay... easy access to the hiking trail system, close to town and clean bathrooms! Highly recommend.

Easy sites to back into. Level pads. Campground and bathrooms were very clean! This is such a beautiful campground, get a site along the stream if you can!

Overall very pretty sites. Nice space and great for tent camping. The bathrooms were clean and the creek was very pretty and a great activity. Lots of hikes in the area. Also less than 10 minutes away from the national park and downtown. My only problem which wasn't really a problem there was no ranger or ranger building. If there was it was not clearly marked. But overall beautiful site and will go back if I get a chance.

Campground is close to everything. Sites and bathrooms were clean. Enjoyed site 3. It felt more private compared to the other sites and close proximity to the bathrooms. Road noise was not a bother in a van.

We had a two night stay at Gulpha Gorge in late February. We took a hike up the trail to the mountaintop loop. The Gulpha Gorge trail was pretty strenuous but the loop was not as bad and there were a lot of nice views. There were lots of people and dogs enjoying the trail while we were there. We did not make reservations at the Hot Springs bath houses so we were not able to get a soak or massage. Camp host Barry was helpful and friendly.

Site 37 was difficult for us to back in our 38 foot 5th wheel. The loop is a single lane one way which makes it hard to maneuver back and forth to get situated. The pad was certainly long enough. Our picnic table was very close to the neighbor’s sewer opening. The pad was pretty level with FHU, firepit, BBQ and cement table.

Gulpha Gorge is a small campground near Hot Springs, AR. Our site was a bit smaller than expected, so we had to park our car in lot across the way. That's not a deal breaker for us. The gorge stream ran right behind our site. The sound of the flowing water is very soothing. The campground is convenient to downtown Hot Springs, I would say less than a 10 minute drive. We ran into some very cold, icy and snowy weather while there, which waylaid some of our plans. We would stay there again.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
