Brady Mountain Campground, Royal, AR

Brady Mountain Campground in Garland county is located 37 min northwest of Hot Springs, AR with an elevation of 596 feet. There are a total of 72 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of March to the end of October. 54 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 70 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $16.00 to $50.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

What a beautiful spot! As it turned out, we, along with our in-laws, were the last campers for the season! The bathrooms and showers were daily kept very clean by staff. We will be staying at COE campgrounds many more times in the future. Thank you for providing such space!

Huge and beautiful campground, as usual with USACE!Bring your cano and enjoy the lake and all the islands, well not all So four stars rather than five because our site (56) was next to that very annoying group or pump starting every 30 minutes

We really enjoyed our stay at Brady Mountain. It was very peaceful and quite with amazing views of the lake. The bathrooms where clean. They cleaned and restocked them every morning. Be sure to fill your freshwater tank on the way in, right past the sign in shack. There are no water hookups at the camp sites. Nor sewer. Only electricity. We will camp there again.

This is a piece of heaven on earth. Quiet getaway where you can experience nature at its best. Tiffany and Dave make your stay as if you were family. The Clydesdale experience was exciting. These are big magnificent horses with gentle personalities. Would not hesitate to come back and do this again!

Well, maintain, clean, park. I have been coming here for 50 years. Always beautiful. The lake is amazing! Highly recommend amazing.

Solo camping trip for me and it was perfect! So peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing. Spacious campsites with great views. Clean and functional bathhouse/restrooms. There is a nice little store right outside the campground (within the recreation area) with reasonable prices. The only negative is that it's closed November thru April.

When we arrived there were people in our camp site but they left shortly after telling them they were in our spot and unloading a bunch of stuff. They site was beautiful right by water. It had stairs off the back side and felt like our own personal beach area. It was relaxing and a great site to camp.

Nice campground, lovely views, sandy beach. Be aware of water over road on the way and after storms one night & with more storms predicted we left a day early. Nice access to camp store, ice, etc.

Its a beautiful campground. My parents brought our family there in the early 60s. We brought our kids and our grandkids. We love the campground and lake Ouachita is magnificent!However, too many groups take over, for the day, unoccupied camp sites. We pay for a site and they dont. There was a large gathering on the campers beach with no permit or authorization to take over the beach designated for CAMPERS ONLY.These non paying day trippers use the electricity and overwhelm the showers and restrooms.In years past, there have better rules in place and those rules were carried out by the ranger force. The Ranger would stop by our campsite to say hello. This July we barely saw a ranger. They drove so quickly thru the area there was no way the ranger could have seen all the infractions going on!We will come back to Brady Mt. because its our place. But, I hope that the rules and regulations will be better policed by the ranger force. If not there will not be a Brady Mt. to come back to

Love the entire camping experience from ease of reservation to check out time. The volunteer park host was the best! Very friendly. The local bathroom and shower house is cleaned very well every morning. There's ample basins for washing dishes in very hot water. Electricity availability is great. 2 not great things is that there is no water hookups on the sites. For a week's stay, even a large water tank will run out. Second ding is that there is no wifi or Internet on the lower part of the campground. I adapted to that but would have been nice to have for my week's stay. Am planning to do another week next year as well. Will know issues and will plan accordingly.

Beautiful sunset and sunrise over the mountains from this peninsula. Very close to the swimming area, and a great site! Be mindful with your tent spikes though. That was a long bit of hammering to get those in!
