The closest bathroom was disgusting. The bathroom with showers was clean. Campsites are very close together, which was amplified because it was crowded. It was easy enough to set up and take down with the sites being close to level.

Picnic table is on the drivers side if you back the camper in.

We stayed at lot B26 and we both loved it. Most of the lots are shaded so that's a plus on hot days. The swimming area is nice and there is someone always there. There is also a marina there that sale and rent boats, pontoons and so on. We go multiple times during the year. The only downside is there is no water hook up for RV's.

Awesome spot by the lake. No running water by sites or at the toilet unfortunately.

Beautiful, roomy campsites. They are all close to the lake with a nice beach area and beautiful views of Sugar Loaf. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with good information and suggestions. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and roomy.

Outstanding. Loop C is the best, plenty of space.

Stayed in sites C2, C3, and C4 for the weekend of the 2024 solar eclipse. The campsites are very spacious with lots of room for tents, hammocks, games, etc. Restrooms were clean and the showers were warm with good water pressure. The well spaced pine trees provided nice shade during the day, but there was still enough break in the canopy to see some stars at night. Greers Ferry Lake was clean and inviting although the water was a little chilly in April. If youre looking to hike nearby I would recommend Bluffton Preserve and Sugarloaf Mountain. Overall the stay was very enjoyable and I would camp there again if ever in the area. Only two potential drawbacks: 1. The swim beach is just an old concrete boat ramp and it gets kind of slick under the water.2. The powerful marina lights seep into the campground in some spots. But this can be worked around with thoughtful tent placement.

This was my familys first time camping at Sugar Loaf. We enjoyed our time in the park, but it was average. The site we stayed in (B13) was clean and level. Our camper set up nice and easy. The sites here have 30 amp power, but NO water at the campsite. We knew this ahead of time and filled our hold tank and brought extra water. Not the end of the world, but water at the sites would be nice. The public bathrooms were clean for a campground, and everything worked. Our main disappointment was the lack of things to do in the park. There was a very small playground that the kids enjoyed, but thats about it. We love to fish and sadly there were no areas to fish from the bank without literally being in someone elses camp site. We wanted to fish near the marina but they do not allow fishing in that area. If you can bring a boat with you the lake looked beautiful and Im sure you could have a great time. The park is good for what it is, just have realistic expectations.

Glad to see that reservations can be made later in the year than previous years. Maintenance/Cleaning personnel were friendly and helpful.

We were not thrill with this spot. The area is nice but the campsite next to you, their picnic table is behind your camper. In my opinion the picnic table needs to be moved to their area. Also, the ants were real bad here. We will bring ant spray next time.

Overall good experience. Only thing was a security light was shining on campsite after hours.

Only 30amp electric at campsites. All campsites need electricity and water at least. It’s time to update section A with electricity also. Hardly anyone uses these sites. Campers also have to clean up site upon arrival(leaves pine needles). Ticks are really bad so we put out seven dust. It’s past time for the core of engineers to do some updating.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
