Great week. Enjoyed some golf nearby and time out on the lake. Now all thats needed is for the morons at the Corp of Engineers to keep the campgrounds open instead of closing almost all of them Sept. 15th!!!!

We were close to the bathrooms and well shaded from the sun which was great, but the ticks and spiders were out of control. We stayed 2 nights and I left with 5 confirmed tick bites, 3 more that look like tick bites but I didnt pull ticks off of, and 2 spider bites, one of which has blistered up and is looking a little worrisome. My 12 yo twins faired much better and only had 2 tick bites between the two of them.

Well, since it was off season we pretty much had the campground to ourselves. We checked in the night before the eclipse and it was busier, but after that it was very quiet. The campground was clean, the bathroom/showers could have been cleaner. Pretty sure I was the only one using the women shower and my husband the only one in the mens and they were not cleaned for the 6 days we were there. No soap or working hand dryer, I had to was the mud and excessive hair out of the shower stall the 1st day. Same garbage in the trash can. We would camp here again and would probably request additional cleaning if needed.

Beautiful campground!We were there with a large group the week of the eclipse. Park Rangers were so nice and friendly with our children

Great campground! Great place to watch the total eclipse right on the shore of Greers Ferry Lake. The ranger was very nice as was the gate person. Bathrooms had hot showers and were cleaned daily. Thanks for a great stay!

Caught the 2024 Eclipse. Tent camped in section D. The bathroom needs to be updated and it was very annoying to use the kind of faucet that that you have to push the top of the faucet to use the water and it automatically shuts off after, what it seemed like, only a few seconds. And that included the shower faucet. Both the men and women bathrooms have sinks that were clogged. We walked by a different bathroom/bathhouse, it smelled bad, but we'll give it a pass, since it was near capacity due to the Eclipse and it was the first weekend of the season. Most of sites did not have pads for tents, which we felt rain water may be a concern when pitching a tent. And the ground were full of pine cones that we had to first clear them all before we pitched our tent. In general, the camp ground was fine. The view of the lake was very nice. Would I recommend it? Sure, why not? If you enjoy water activities, this just might be the place for you.

Beautiful area, really nice camp sites. Only negative were the vault toilets. Close enough to town to run in for any needs but definitely feels tucked away from everything. Went for the eclipse and it was a great experience.

The campsite was clean and well maintained. The rangers all helped us figure out where to park extra vehicles and answered all our questions. We were part of a BSA scout troop and enjoyed our camping and the eclipse.

Nice park. Lots of shade. Convenient to lake, swim area, launching ramp and marina. Grocery and other stores just a couple of miles away.

On what planet is it okay not to have soap in bathrooms and what asinine person made the decision to make it specially hard to use toilet paper? Going to a public bathroom should not be a challenge! This campground should simple close: they obviously don’t have the funds, the know-how and the wherewithal to have a decent place to camp. One star is too much star.

Love Shiloh bit park is in need of a good cleanup and power upgrades. Could barely keep a/c on in camper without tripping the 30a breaker. Take a look at Cricket Creek Park on Table Rock and conpare it to all the parks on Greers Ferry. Camp fees were raised this year, but still the same ol pine needles and rocks. Do better USACE.

I love Shiloh. It's a great park. We go every year, multiple times a year. We have a big crew of family that comes, we take up almost all fo E and C. I, like may other, am so disappointed that site E12 never got fixed. Every other site on E got leveled and filled with chat besides E12. E12 has very big rocks and it's up hill to the picnic table, it's a dangerous site.

The park was very clean. They cleaned the sites promptly after checkouts. The attendants this year were very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

This is the perfect primitive group campground and they have thinned the trees so there is a view of the lake. It has its own swimming area and launching pad. There is no electricity at the campsites or flushing toilets, but the safe location for the children to ride their bikes, privacy, and the tables at the pavilion make up for the amenities it lacks. There is one spigot with running water and a water fountain. We have been going annually for 30 years and we look forward to next year starting the day we leave.

We had a great spot. Bathrooms were always clean. But no soap of any kind to wash hands after bathroom. There were guests who brought animals in bathroom and some guests that smoked in the bathroom. We had a great time.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
