Pretty place. Weekends are full. After rain there is debris on sites and on road, (sticks, rocks, gravel, mud).Sites are ok. Railing around some sites is rotten, to the point dangerous.Concrete camper parking, mostly level, but gravel picnic table/fire pit area. Some tree trimming needs to be done on road and at the sites because of hitting campers.This is an older campground, so dont expect too much. Some maintenance and updates needed. Branson about 40+/- minutes away.

Nothing wrong with the campground, but we got rained out because our campsite flooded. Nothing anyone could do about it. The camp host was excellent.

nice sites however downed limbs from wind storm damage lying about sites. We moved larger limbs onto edge of site closer to road. Camp host reports he has reported this needing clean up but thus far has not been addressed. Also dump site for black water, trap does not fully open due to the way concrete around it has been poured. This causes splashing as hoses cannot be properly fitted on dump. Easy fix. Just needs small area of concrete removed so trap can be fully opened. Was also told by camp host this has been reported but thus far not addressed. This is a definite hazard and should be addressedWe love this campground as sites are well shaded and it is quiet. restroom clean and camp host is amazing. Would just like to see these above items addressed

The B side was beautiful and quiet except when the weekend came and lots of locals camp in and camped, drank too much beer, and were too loud!!! Weeks were to peaceful but weekends were not!!

I stayed till the last day. Check out time is 3pm. The Corp shut off the water and locked the bathrooms about 12 noon! Several of us were unable to clean out our black tanks. I paid to stay on my camp spot which included the use of the dump tank upon leaving. I believe I am owed a refund for not receiving the services I paid for. Very disappointed with COE. Apparently this was done last year as well. Very inconvenient!!!

Park is very very dark. No lights in campground at all. Absolutely no light at boat ramp. Very difficult to back in and load boat after dark.
@CrisW3125918 · Camped on Sep 1, 2022 at Campsite #1
The park attendant at this park is top notch and the lake and park are very pretty. I really wish the corp would fix the road going to the B side so it does not get closed down every year due to flooding. They also really need to make a swimming area. To many people are having to swim by the boat loading area and that is to dangerous.

Was a peaceful, quiet campground with shade and good, clean showers/restrooms

Campsites and marina were awesome. The water was beautiful. The camp host on the other hand was intoxicated one night and was rude and insulting.
@CaraK5362172 · Camped on Jul 24, 2022 at Campsite #11
The campsites were great and having the air conditioned bathroom on-site was awesome, especially during the time we were there because it was so hot. The camp host was friendly when we arrived, but the 2nd night we were there (his day off), he came down and went off on us!! We were watching a movie outside, and I'll be the first to admit the volume was up really loud, but he came down a little after 10:00 and went off on us, screaming for us to turn it off because it was quiet time. He called our group a bunch of disrespectful Kansans and just kept going on and on. You could tell he had been drinking and we didn't argue with him at all. We turned the movie off and everyone went to their campers for the night. We realize it was quiet time and all he would've had to do was kindly ask us to turn it down or off, and we would've obliged, but the way he handled the situation was uncalled for in my opinion. I'm not sure if he's treated other campers this way before, but I would hope someone would talk to him about how to better handle situations like this, or find someone else to be the camp host at this site. He completely avoided us for remainder of our stay and other than this incident, we all had a good time. The owners/operators of the marina were super nice and accommodating to our group and it was very nice to have the marina at this location.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
