Excellent park, well run, the fishing is great, we stay there a couple of times every year, I would definitely recommend it!

Love the location, seeing and getting out on the water. A good spot, but was a bit rocky because of recent big rain.

Nearly level sites with concrete pads, picnic table and fire ring. B+ on restroom cleanliness. Showers need some cleaning. Site had great view of the lake. Some freeway noise but tolerable.

Brian reached out before I arrived to tell me my site was ready and also taught me how to use the seniors pass discount that I thought was only for NPs. The campground was clean from the site, bathroom, shower house, and the swim beach. Other campers were very friendly and as we were there during the week, it was mostly retired people enjoying the life! Water and electric were convenient. Site 41 has a beautiful view, but probably not well suited if you have young children (limited space to explore safely- some of the other sites offer more kid-friendly areas. I hated to leave and missed not having a boat for the water. Cant wait to return!

Beautiful campground, we were within walking distance to the beach. Each morning we had wonderful sunrises that could be seen across the lake.

Our reservation was for site 6 but ended up at 14, right on the lake, thanks to camp hosts Brian and his wife. I inquired about any last minute openings and he allowed us to transfer to a much better site! 14 has no shade but its also at the shore line. Each site has electricity and water, which was great. We did see the local Sheriff and a Ranger swing through the park at least twice. Brian was also out and about, making sure everyone was doing okay and answering questions. Overall, we will definitely be back.

We love camping at Bidwell Point. The park is clean and patrolled regularly by rangers, sheriffs department and the park attendant. The park attendant, Brian, is always helpful and is there day or night when you need him.

Brian was VERY helpful and great communication, as soon as he had a cancellation he notified us and we got to book immediately. Camp was clean and ready for setup with great views.

The park attendance is great at his job and takes good care of the park and the visitors that come there. The only bad experience was the rest rooms. Most of the times the mens were out of toilet paper and very messy. But thats not the park attendance faults. We always look forward to visiting this park. Especially when we drive 485 miles to get there
@RodneyR8484265 · Camped on May 11, 2024 at Campsite #10
The "running water" toilet and shower house is in need of updating. Paint peeling, tiles cracked in shower area. We camped along the road to the swim beach in campsite #10 - big mistake! The traffic on that road was BUSY and little regard for the posted speed limit. Even after dark, there was frequent vehicles traveling out to the "point". This made our campsite #10 uncomfortable.

We love this campground and stop here everytime we are in Mountain Home, AR. The sites are decent size and most have picnic tables with shelter and fire pits. The campground is only 15 minutes away from town where there are lots of restaurants and shopping. Bidwell offers a boat ramp with easy access, great views, nice shower houses, playground and a swim area for kids.
@DorothyH694201 · Camped on Apr 9, 2024 at Campsite #7
We visited in early April overnight. Nicely spaced sites. We had a lovely, high view of the lake. Enjoyed the birds and flowers.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
