Mostly private sites with very clean latrines and well-maintained trails nearby. Everyone was surprisingly quiet after 10pm. I was impressed with the quiet especially: it was like we were alone after dark.

The campsite was in poor shape - 2 boards missing from the picnic table and holes in the side of the fire ring. Was told it had a shower but there was none. Found out after I left that campus at Tracy Ridge can use the showers at Willow Bay. In general Tracy Ridge looks like USACE is giving the whole campground back to mother nature.

Really nice and peaceful park, with large private sites, and low crowds (especially during the week). Water is funky looking (iron I think) but it IS well water and the forest service says its safe to drink.8

I love this campground - it is beautiful, secluded, and quiet. Be prepared for a primitive camping experience and you'll be fine (bring your own toilet paper ;) )

Tracey’s Ridge is out home away from home . We absolutely love it there. The trails are beautiful to hike . We will be back every year at least once a year.

Great campsites Not crowded Pit toilets worst we’ve seen Only one working pump and water heavy on iron so glad we brought our own

A very nice, quiet campground. Very lightly used, and with judicious site selection you will not be able to see or hear your neighbors. A few caveats: - There was only one operating water pump (loop E), and the water is reddish colored due to high iron content - you may want to bring your own. - The picnic table at my campsite (110) was damaged - the bench on one side is missing, and the rest of it definitely had seen better days. - There is no playground for children, and it would be very easy for a little one to wander into the woods and get lost. - At my campsite, there was no clearly delineated tent pad, and the ground seems to have a subtle slope. I had to move my tent around a couple of times before I found an even patch. - There was no campground host that I saw (albeit I didn’t spend any real time looking) and no ice or firewood available for purchase onsite. Both ice and wood are available for purchase at Willow Bay Campground (~10 minute drive). For other supplies, your best bet is Bradford (~30 minute drive). - I had decent cell service at my site (AT&T - 1-2 bars) but this may vary by site and provider. Tracy Ridge is about as close to a remote wilderness experience as you can get while car-camping at an established campground. If you like Mother Nature, you can get along without flush toilets and showers, and you’re prepared to be a little more self-sufficient than might be the case at other campgrounds, Tracy Ridge is a very nice campground, and I will definitely be back.

Great campground!

Great, affordable overnight on our way to visit grandchild in Vermont. Generally quiet on weekdays. Hope the park gets at least some of the extra reservation fee.

No water. No trash containers. No neighbors! Camp hosts were very nice. I had the campground to myself and my dogs could run a little bit. While cooking ribs on the grill and reading, I failed to see the large black bear that entered my campsite. I grabbed the dogs and the ribs and jumped in the van. The bear was disappointed and meandered off.

Great campground, clean restrooms (low on toilet paper), relatively quiet. Never saw a camp host in 4 days. Left on Tuesday after Labor Day. Walked around Labor Day (Monday) putting out several smoldering fires left in fire pits in loop B.

There was no water at our loop, we had to drive to Loop E to get it. There was no warning of this either and we had to depend on other campers to figure out what to do. The camp site was pretty clean, just half a dozen eggs left in the brush

A true gem in Allegheny. People who appreciate nature and how to preserve it and the wildlife frequent here which is nice. Hopefully it stays that way.

Beware that all of the water pumps are broken. Bring your own.

Tracy Ridge=Great! Recreation.gov=sux! Made reservations thru them, total of $40. Tried to cancel and my refund was only going to be $4.00!!

First time user, campsites nicely spaced. Hiking trail with optional loops near by. Happy to see staff had our site reserved with a tag, name and date.

Nice and quiet campgrounds! We enjoyed our 10 day stay. I’m sad to see only a few loops open, but I assume most campers are staying at Red Bridge or Willow Bay nowadays. Be sure to keep the campsite clean! We had a black bear visit our site on day 2. He made out with our lockable dry goods bin and managed to break into it after about 3 hours of rolling it around! Would definitely return here, overall it’s a great campground away from the crowds but close enough to the reservoir.
@VictorV424 · Camped on Jul 16, 2021 at Campsite #16
This review has nothing to do with the quality of the park, etc. We love it there. It just dumped torrential rains on us, the wood purchased locally was "green" and would not light (even with generous soaking in lighter fluid) and the trails were washed out in places. Nevertheless, we WILL be back!
@MarianneB386 · Camped on Jul 2, 2021 at Campsite #115
More trash containers would be nice. We are there for enjoying the nature, but some people are a little bit to noisy, but at least they respect the quiet time. But we don’t think it is necessary to hear laud music and screaming the hole day.

Picnic Table was damaged & moved out of the main camping area. Otherwise the location was great!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
