Great spot! Access to the water via a small path. We took SUPs and it was awesome! You can access Jack's Rocks from the campground and we rode our mountain bikes. Very well maintained trials. The caretakers were friendly. The bathrooms are pretty basic and "rustic." But it's camping! We'll definitely be back.

I've been coming here since I was 7 years old and it is the most magical place. Having working bathrooms and showers is great when you have kiddos. Each site is isolated enough with lots of foliage that it feels quite private. The stars on a clear night are incredible :)

The location cannot be beat. Beautiful lake with great hiking and biking. Jakes Rocks and Rimrock overlocks are worth the walk.

Wonderful stay again tent camping. We have been camping at dewdrop for at least 8 years. The campground employees were pleasant. Most everyone was quiet at 10pm for quiet time. The Allegheny website still says that the bathrooms are closed on the weekends except for the shower restroom. All restrooms were open. We had a wonderful time as always.

Wonderful campground! Sites are far apart and wooded, providing some privacy. We have been camping there for many years and will continue to go back.

When we pulled in to the campground the host said "you have the best (primitive) site in the Forest, and he wasn't wrong!!! We had an unobstructed view of the Reservoir. My only complaint is that the short hike down to the site was pretty tricky, especially after some soaking rains. My brother, who's older and had a minor foot injury, had a hard time getting up and down. Hauling coolers and gear (including a griddletop) was a wee challenging.

Site was perfect - shaded, flat, close to the car, and just had to walk across a path to the lake. Close to trails and the town of Warren where you could rent mountain bikes and do the mountain bike trails. Highly recommend.

I came to Dewdrop in order to utilize the connected mountain bike trail system, but I sincerely believe that this campsite has something for anybody here to camp, particularly people who want access to the Allegheny Reservoir! And anyone else who goes to Dewdrop to mountain bike is likely to enjoy it, I don't know, I'm from the Midwest and enjoy trail biking and feel fortunate to be in such close proximity to this finely developed and maintained system of trails.Staff onsite are very helpful and friendly, I remember meeting one attendant, Mike, on my previous trip to Dewdrop; he's the person who initially turned me onto site 74, which is indeed one of my favorite campsites I've had the privilege of visiting.

Unfortunately Saturday night was as to be expected. Very noisy and the bathrooms were extremely dirty. Sunday night was better. The bathrooms are incredibly outdated and I feel the hot water button pushing methodology is too complicated. Nice private sites.

Long time camper of Jake's rocks. First time at dewdrop, spot #74. Must say the view and spot itself are well worth the experience. The hike down the hill to camping spot is a bit steep. Only complaint is some if the neighboring campers. Dogs barking waking me up in the morning, and the occasional party goers on boars blasting music here and there, but overall fun! I'd go back again.

Our campsite was the best one we have ever camped at. Pretty much lake front, very big space, and pretty private without neighbors right on top of us. We went to Kinzua bridge and hiked at Rimrock overlook. The area was beautiful. We will definitely be back next year and will explore more of the hiking in the area.

We were there for a week. The bathroom in the loop we were staying, never seemed to get cleaned. Toilet paper on the floor, almost no toilet paper in the men's bathroom, and mirrors dirty were signs of no cleaning. We were also surprised at the lack of almost no presence of Staff in the campground. The site next to us had cars parked down in their campsite(Over 8 people in the site both nights). Lots of cars , up to 4 at a time parked in their site, and lots of noise in the entire campground after 10. We have been coming to Dewdrop for over 27 years, was not up to the standards we have seen in the past.

Campsite host Mike was great. He helped us change sites when we arrived, and promptly dealt with fallen trees that blocked the roadway.

Mike the host at Dewdrop was very courteous and helpful. Went above and beyond the call of duty. Several trees came down across the road....cleaned it up in record time. Had some rowdies on a site and handled that quickly and effinciently.The park was wonderful will be back next year!!

Nice location on mountain biking trails. Facilities in need of investment. No improvements in campground facilities in past five years.

Our fire ring was COMPLETELY full to the rim of ash and trash. I shoveled it out so that we could at least have a fire and discovered many buried beer cans and large balls of tin foil in the ring. I cleaned up cigarette butts, broken glass, and miscellaneous pieces of trash throughout the site. The restrooms are in a terrible state. They are not maintained, cleaned, or serviced. Think of the bathroom from the movie saw. Its not that far off. Its apparent that the current management make no effort to maintain the sites or facilities. But they sure do love to drive their golf carts at 30+mph around the campground.

Ive been camping here for over 20 years. The state of the restrooms were the absolutely disgusting. Ive never seen them this bad. The showers were equally awful. There is no attempt to clean or make the facilities presentable to anyone.
@JamesR5751753 · Camped on Jun 29, 2023 at Campsite #65
The lower camp spots along the water need a bathroom... walking up the side of a mountain first is NO WAY TO "ENJOY THE GO"!!!

Quiet spacious campsites. Clean restrooms. Amazing mountain bike trails.

We love Kinzu and the Allegheny River but it was rainy and shrouded in Canadian smoke. As for the camp I'll make one general comment. I think the place needs a maintenance crew. It seems like the very least is being done to keep it beautiful. Folks that remember 30-40 years ago say the place is gone to hell.
@MarkM2223984 · Camped on Jun 20, 2023 at Campsite #38
Except for the mosquitos eating me alive, it was a very relaxing experience.
@EmilyS1613279 · Camped on Jun 18, 2023 at Campsite #31
Our campsite was amazing. It was large and had a short walk to the river. Not many people camping when we went but we wouldn’t notice either way because there is plenty of room between sites. The only negative thing I have to say is the shower and bathrooms were not very clean. We stayed 4 nights. On the first night we arrived I noticed the hand soap was gone but filled with water. Not once did the campsite refill with actual soap. A lot of bathroom and shower stalls did not actually lock either.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
